My Son's J Castle Adventure
How is everyone doing?
I hope you're all having a great day.
Last December, I had the pleasure of accompanying my son on his highly anticipated educational field trip. For him, it's always the highlight of the school year. This year's trip was particularly special, as their main destination was J Castle, the newly opened theme park in Batangas, Philippines. J Castle officially opened its doors on May 1st of last year.
Prior to arriving at the theme park, we made several other stops, such as visiting factories of bread and instant noodles, to name a few, but J Castle was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip. We arrived before noon and ate lunch on the bus, as outside food and beverages were strictly prohibited inside the park. This included even small items like candies and nuts. Security conducted thorough bag and pocket checks. If they found anything, they'd take it, put it on a tray with a label, and hold it at the entrance until we left.

Students and their respective guardians were directed to the lobby to await their turn. Groups were organized based on bus numbers, and we were among the last to be called. The kids in line couldn't help but peek into the briefing room every time a staff member opened the door to bring in another group. They were so excited! The parents were busy taking photos because the lobby had a lot of picture-perfect spots, with colorful murals in vibrant colors.
Finally, it was our turn! The children were attentive during the orientation in the briefing room, where they were shown an audio-visual presentation and briefed on what to expect inside the attractions. The staff also introduced J Castle's charming characters and shared the stories behind the park.

After they finished in the briefing room they proceeded to the theater room for a short film about interdimensional adventures.

They then proceeded to the next attraction, while we trailed behind, capturing photos. I regret that I cannot share more images, as filtering each photo to protect the privacy of other students would be excessively time-consuming. I have selected photos featuring minimal or no visible faces.

It was incredibly difficult to keep track of my son in the other rooms, as he was running everywhere, fueled by excitement. They were all so thrilled especially in the Light Bridge, the Disco Era room, the Game Room, and the Giant Duck Pool. Rather than chasing after him, I settled into a corner and simply enjoyed watching him have such a wonderful time.
We stayed until it was time to exit, as another group was entering. We still had a few hours of free time before the final part of the tour, which was the light show.

We grabbed snacks and refreshments while waiting for the light show, and then used the remaining time to take ample photos for his field trip documentation report before the show began.
They were setting up and testing the lights as the clouds darkened and evening approached.
Seeing the pure joy on my son's face throughout the day made the J Castle trip truly special. I'm so glad I could share a piece of that with you my Hive friends!
Thank you for reading!
