Exploring Sikatuna's Mirror of the World
Hello Hive friends!
Hope you're all having a fantastic day and a wonderful week ahead!
Today I am excited to take you along on our adventure to one of Bohol's most captivating spots: the Sikatuna's Mirror of the World! Imagine wandering through a place where iconic landmarks from all over the world have been brought to life in miniature.
Just imagine the Eiffel Tower standing proudly alongside a scaled-down version of the Christ the Redeemer of Rio, the Statue of Liberty of New York, and the Merlion in Singapore, all in one place. It's quite a sight!
While we've had the pleasure of exploring other theme parks that showcase miniature replicas of famous landmarks from around the world, there's a certain magic about the Sikatuna Mirror of the World that truly captures our hearts and makes it our undisputed favorite. It was difficult to describe what makes it unique, yet the mood is captivating all around. This park really appears with a certain lively vitality, in contrast to other similar places we have visited. Maybe it is the way the sun shines through the extraordinarily lush greenery around each little wonder, or perhaps it's the happy conversation of other tourists who are just fascinated with the miniature representations of the world that are in front of them.
Our children filled up with genuine excitement as soon as we entered the park! They were surrounded by a strong buzz of excitement as their eyes widened as they jumped from one breathtaking attraction to another. It was as if they had entered a land of endless wonder, and the sheer variety of things to see left them momentarily speechless, not sure of which attractions to check first. With so much to take in, we decided to explore slowly, promising them we'd explore every interesting and delightful corner one at a time.
That day our trip to the park was leisurely and gentle, paying close attention to our two senior companions. We were considerate of their comfort at every step, stopping regularly on nearby seats to give them a chance to rest their tired feet. With their adorable little rental carts promising a leisurely tour of the grounds, the park presented a tempting replacement for exploring. But the huge line of excited tourists showed how popular this choice was, and since there were only so many carts, we would have to pass up that particular adventure. We didn't mind at all; their well-being was our priority, and the simple act of strolling together, interspersed with peaceful rests, was enjoyable in itself.
The park had some really interesting things to see, but many of them were way up high, with stairs that seemed to go on forever. One look at those endless steps, and our older companions just shook their heads with a definite "no way!" We totally understood them, so we decided to stick to the parts of the park that were nice and flat, where everyone could walk comfortably without any aches or pains while paying close attention to our kids.

That's how we ended up spending most of our time near the lovely fish pond. It was such a peaceful spot. We bought little bags of fish food that they were selling, and it was so much fun watching the kids excitedly toss the pellets into the water. The pond was absolutely teeming with fish! There were so many of them, and they were surprisingly big and came in all sorts of beautiful colors. It was like a living painting, all those vibrant fish swimming around in the water, and mostly are eager for a snack.
And that concludes our wonderful day at the Sikatuna Mirror of the World, my friends! For us, it was a very unique and unforgettable trip full of small wonders and moments of pure happiness, especially when we saw the children's smiles and spent quality time with their grandparents.
If you are planning to visit Bohol this themed park is definitely worth a visit.
Have you ever been to the Sikatuna Mirror of the World or other miniature parks like this? How was your experiences? I would love to hear them!

First of all, I love the shots!
What camera device have you used to capture those photographs? Hehe. It's so detailed and clear on my part.
I didn't know that the replica of Eiffel tower also exist in there, in my hometown that replica also exist on one of the resorts here. Just a little bit taller than in there (I guess) This would be added to one of the places I want to travel with someday.
