Análisis de las cartas “Exclusivas” en Splinterlands (Ulfga the Blighted) [EN-ES]

It has been 2 weeks since I started a new series of posts with which I intend to address and / or detail the cards of "Splinterlands", I mean an exclusive in-game store where you can only purchase the card with the token called $VOUCHER and that additional is for a limited time, so, these cards are quite unique and special. Now this time it is time to detail in depth the card called "Ulfga the Blighted", one of the cards that was sold some time ago in the exclusive store and that, although at first glance does not seem to be a very strong and useful card, it certainly is, but, read on and wait to see everything this card can do, because as I said, these cards are relatively special and of course they have utility on the battlefield.

Ulfga the Blighted (Statistics and Design)

Just as we follow the same structure as the previous series, such as the "Hall of Legends" with the framework of the current edition of "Rebellion", so I will try to do the same with this series of cards from the exclusive store of "Splinterlands", of course, with a little more dynamism and going more to the point so you can understand how to play it and what you should do:

Design

I am used to share first the design of the card, for me it is something important because, in them is the story of what is "Praetoria", the fictional world of the game, and also, in my particular tastes, I really like the game for the design of the cards, most of which are incredible.

For example; this card is quite striking, it seems to be a creature of the depths that has the ability to revive, in fact, it has no arms, so it is not able to attack, its design and illustration, goes very well with what we can see on the card, I mean the form that has the creature, in general, has very good color, a great shading and honors the powers it possesses, something that I will talk about later.

Statistics

This is a "Legendary" rarity card, which belongs to the mythical and powerful "Dragon Splinter", this is something I wanted to clarify, also, looking at the card, it looks like a "Humanoid Dragon", something we have already seen in other editions, but, let's go with the statistics which is the interesting thing:

Mana cost: I must start with this first, as even being a "Legendary" rarity card its mana cost is incredibly low, at only 4 points, although I imagine you will say that for the rest of its stats it makes sense that the cost is this, but, let's continue looking at all the details.
Attack and Speed: This card has no attack points, in fact, it only has 4 speed points, so it is not really a card that is able to attack the opponent, not even with the help of other cards, however, it has a hidden power that is literally "BROKE" and that can be very useful, but we will see it later.
Life and Defense Points: This card has it complete, since, from its lowest level it has 5 life points, and in the highest level 6, on the other hand, the shield points are maintained, having in all its levels 4 points, something that is quite good, besides, for the cost of mana it has, it has good vital points, so, it's great.

Abilities of "Ulfga the Blighted" and its best rules (Where to play it)

This is where it always gets interesting, as the abilities of the cards are the most important thing in this game, although their statistics are important, I am not despising them at all, in 95% of the game the abilities and/or rules always take control of the field, but, let's get to the important thing:

Abilities:

Untrainable: A very simple ability to understand and that I explained without you realizing it in the previous section, basically this card will never be able to attack, since, not even with the ability of "Weapons Training" it can obtain attack points, so, basically it is not a card that is for the "Offensive", at least not directly.
Slow: One of the oldest skills in the game, but one of the most useful without any doubt, since, in "Splinterlands", one aspect that makes us win important battles is speed, and with this skill, Ulfga can decrease the speed of all the opponent's cards by 1 point.
Poison Burst: This is basically the strongest ability of this card and the one that changes the whole picture of what it can do, since, when this card is finally defeated, there is a 100% chance that the card that defeated it, will be poisoned, causing a damage in each round of -2 life points, in addition, as if that were not enough, there is a 50% chance that the cards adjacent to the monster that defeated "Ulfga the Blighted", will also be poisoned, also causing in each round -2 life points.
Weaken: As if that were not enough, in addition to the fact that this card is capable of slowing down the speed of all the opponent's cards, it also has the ability to decrease the life of all the opponent's cards by -1 point, so this is incredible without a doubt.
Rebirth: In addition to all of the above, this card when defeated is able to come back from the dead to position itself back on the field with +1 life point, which is totally insane.

Rules:

In order for you to have a little clearer how to play this card, I leave a list of "Rules" in which the chances of playing this card in these, is very good, plus its effects are really of the general type, so there really is no rule where you can not play, something a few, but these are the best:

This card is an additional to the deck of cards impressive, you can apply many strategies, and for those who do not understand the reference at the beginning, that, although it can not literally attack directly, this card has high chances of severely damaging 3 cards of the opponent, since the percentages are really high, in fact, one of those cards already has the damage assured, and the other 2 and a 50% which is a lot for this type of battles.

Ahora en esta ocasión ha llegado el tueno de detallar a fondo la carta llamada “Ulfga the Blighted”, una de las cartas que se vendió hace un tiempo en la tienda exclusiva y que, a pesar de que a primera vista no parezca ser una carta muy fuerte y útil, ciertamente que lo es, pero, sigan leyendo y esperan a ver todo lo que esta carta puede hacer, ya que como dije, estas cartas son relativamente especiales y por supuesto que tienen utilidad en el campo de batalla.

Ulfga the Blighted (Estadísticas y Diseño)

Así como llevamos la misma estructura que las anteriores series, como la del “salón de las Leyendas” con el marco de la edición actual de “Rebellion”, así mismo tratare de hacer lo mismo con esta serie de las cartas de la tienda exclusiva de “Splinterlands”, por supuesto, con un poco más de dinamismo y yendo más al grano para que puedan entender como jugarla y que es lo que deben hacer:

Diseño

Estoy a costumbrada a compartir primero el diseño de la carta, para mi es algo importante porque, en ellas está la historia de lo que es “Praetoria”, el mundo ficticio del juego, y ademas, en mis gustos particulares, me gusta mucho el juego por el diseño que poseen las cartas, los cuales en su gran mayoría son increíbles.

Por ejemplo; esta carta es bastante llamativa, parece ser una criatura de las profundidades que tiene la habilidad de revivir, de hecho, no tiene brazos, por lo que no es capaz de atacar, su diseño e ilustración, va muy bien con lo que podemos ver en la carta, me refiero a la forma que tiene la criatura, en líneas generales, tiene muy bien color, un sombreado genial y hace honor a los poderes que posee, algo de lo que hablare más adelante.

Estadísticas

Esta es una carta de rareza “Legendaria”, la cual perteneces al mítico y poderoso “Splinter de Dragón”, esto es algo que quería aclarar, ademas, viendo bien la carta, parece un “Dragon Humanoide”, algo que ya hemos visto en otras ediciones, pero, vamos con las estadísticas que es lo interesante:

Costo de mana: Debo comenzar por esto primero, ya que incluso al ser una carta de rareza “Legendaria” su costo de mana es increíblemente bajo, de tan solo 4 puntos, aunque imagino que dirán que por el resto de sus estadísticas tiene sentido que el costo sea este, pero, sigamos viendo todos los detalles.
Ataque y Velocidad: Esta carta no posee puntos de ataque, de hecho, solo tiene 4 puntos de velocidad, por lo que, realmente no es una carta que se capaz de atacar al oponente, ni siquiera con ayuda de otras cartas, sin embargo, tiene un poder oculto que esta literalmente “ROTO” y que puede ser muy útil, pero, lo veremos más adelante.
Puntos de Vida y Defensa: Esto sí que la carta lo tiene completo, ya que, desde su nivel más bajo posee 5 puntos de vida, y en el más alto 6, por otro lado, los puntos de escudo se mantienen, tendiendo en todos sus niveles 4 puntos, algo que es bastante bueno, ademas de que, para el costo de mana que posee, tiene buenos puntos vitales, así que, esta genial.

Habilidades de “Ulfga the Blighted” y sus mejores reglas (Donde jugarlo)

Aquí es donde siempre todo se pone interesante, ya que las habilidades de las cartas son lo más importante en este juego, si bien sus estadísticas son importantes, para nada las estoy despreciando, en el 95% del juego las habilidades y/o reglas toman siempre el control del campo, pero, vamos a lo importante:

Habilidades:

Untrainable: Una habilidad muy sencilla de entender y que la explique sin que se dieran cuenta en la sección anterior, básicamente esta carta jamás podrá atacar, ya que, ni siquiera con la habilidad de “Weapons Training” puede obtener puntos de ataque, por lo que, básicamente no es una carta que sea para la “Ofensiva”, al menos no directamente.
Slow: Una de las habilidades más antiguas del, juego, pero de las más útiles sin ninguna duda, ya que, en “Splinterlands”, un aspecto que hace que ganemos importantes batallas es la velocidad, y con esta habilidad, Ulfga puede disminuir en 1 punto la velocidad de todas las cartas del adversario.
Poison Burst: Esta es básicamente la habilidad más fuerte de esta carta y la que cambia todo el panorama de lo que puede hacer, ya que, cuando esta carta finalmente es derrotada, hay un 100% de probabilidades de que la carta que la derroto, sea envenenada, causando un daño en cada ronda de -2 puntos de vida, ademas, por si fuera poco, existe un 50% de probabilidades de que las cartas adyacentes al monstruo que venció a “Ulfga the Blighted”, también sean envenenadas, causando también en cada ronda -2 puntos de vida.
Weaken: Por si fuera poco, ademas de que esta carta es capaz de disminuir la velocidad de todas las cartas del oponente, también tiene la capacidad de disminuir en -1 punto la vida de todas las cartas del rival, por lo que, esto es increíble sin duda alguna.
Rebirth: Ademas de todo lo anterior, esta carta cuando es derrotada es capaz de volver de la muerte para posicionarse nuevamente en el campo con +1 punto de vida, lo que es totalmente una locura.

Reglas:

Con el objetivo de que tengan un poco más claro el cómo jugar esta carta, déjate una lista de “Reglas” en las que las probabilidades de jugar esta carta en estas, es muy buena, ademas de que sus efectos realmente son del tipo generales, por lo que, realmente no hay una regla en donde no se pueda jugar, algo unas pocas, pero, estas son las mejores:

Noxious Fumes
Fog of War
Weak Magic
Lost Magic
Little League
Armored Up

Conclusión

Esta carta es una adicional al mazo de cartas impresionante, se pueden aplicar muchas estrategias, y para el que no entiendo la referencia del principio, de que, a pesar de que no puede literalmente atacar directamente, esta carta tiene altas probabilidades de dañar severamente a 3 cartas del rival, ya que los porcentajes son realmente altos, de hecho, una de esas cartas ya tiene el daño asegurado, y las otras 2 e un 50% que es muchísimo para este tipo de batallas.
