I'm a loser at 27 😭. Made dumb decisions and struggled with depression most of my 20s. Last year i got laid off and my car was repossessed. I found another job recently, but the damage feels permanent.

Credit score is 290. $17/hr in a kitchen. No savings, no retirement. My sociology degree feels worthless. I can't afford to rent alone, so i'm stuck with roommates for years. I'm just...lost...

Imagine if this was real

You're not a loser—27 is young, and starting over now builds real resilience. I was in a similar spot at 25: broke, bad habits. Switched to budgeting ruthlessly, side hustles, and investing every extra dollar in index funds. By 35, compounding turned it around. You've got time—focus on assets over stuff, consistency beats perfection. Start small today.
