Worshipping The Father And The Son. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW
The Father, The Son (who is the Lord Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit is to be worshiped. We should worship the Father as well as the Son. There is no place in the Bible where we are told not to worship the Father or the Son. Our Lord Jesus Christ is to be worshiped. Our Father in heaven who is the Father is also to be worshiped. The Holy Spirit who is the God with us is to be worshiped. As believers, we will worship both the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We know the Father as the God who manifested Himself in the creations. He created everything that exists. The Lord Jesus Christ revealed Him to us as the Father. Before the manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father was only known to us as God, the Almighty God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son. He is the God who manifested Himself in the human form so that he could submit himself to the death on the cross. The Son is God manifested in the flesh. He came so that he could pay the penalty of our sins. The Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand side of the Father to make intercession for our sins.
The Holy Spirit is God with us. He is the power of God working in our midst as the church. He is the one who gives us the power to do what we are doing now as his church on earth.
Whenever we are worshipping God, we must always do so in spirit and also in truth
we are commanded to worship as they are the true God
