Believing in the Word of God is what will build us up in the way of God. Believing in the Word of God will encourage us to always obey the commandments of God. We are to follow the doctrines which we are taught in absolute obedience so that we will be pleased with us. We must not follow after the deception which many people are spreading in the name of church these days. We must know the truth from the Word of God.

How can we believe if we do not hear? How can we hear without a preacher? So, we need to hear from the word of God and listen to the truth. When we earnestly understand what we are hearing and accept what we are taught from the Bible, we will be able to serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

The Bible is not an entertainment book. When we read it we must understand what we are reading. This is why we should learn to discipline ourselves to understand what we are hearing from the doctrines of Jesus Christ.
