There would have been total peace and happiness in the world if there were no sufferings and hardship. It is the sufferings that people are passing through in the world that makes them to have a sense of displeasure. There is sufferings in the world. It is not something that is characterized with a particular society or culture. It is a worldwide phenomenon. None of us is happy with the way things are going in the world. People wake up everyday to experience pains and afflictions. Some of these afflictions come from the mismanagement of society resources by the ruling class.

The world will not give us a peaceful life, we do not listen to the word of God. We are not going to overcome the hardship in the world on our own. We must believe the promises of God. The world gives afflictions and problems. The Word of God offers solution to the pains. When people refuse to fix their eyes on the Lord, they will certainly be traumatized by the situations on earth. It is in the Lord Jesus Christ alone that we can receive peace of mind and true joy.

Cast all your cares on God. Don't worry about anything. Trust in the Lord. Believe in the Word of God. When our hope is on God, there is no situation on earth that will victimize us.
