Yes, we should watch movies! Watching movies is not a sin. In fact there is nothing sinful about the technology of movies. It is a great blessing to humanity because it offers us the opportunity to learn easily. Like when we were in schoollll. We were taught in science that a machine is a device that makes work easy. So, movies are one of the technological devices which makes learning easy. So, it is good to watch movies.

For The Glory Of God

1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
The Bible says that whatsoever we do we should do it for the glory of God. That is, in every thing that we get engaged with, let us do it for the glory of God. We should not do anything outside the glory of God. God must be glorified in everything we put our hands into. In our words, in our thoughts, and in our actions, let everything that we do be done for the glory of God.
When we watch movies, let us do so for the glory of God alone. We should not watch movies mainly to entertain ourselves. We should not watch movies just to derive pleasure and have fun. It is good to have pleasure and fun but we must glorify God in everything that we do.

Are All Movies Good For A Christian?

All movies are not acceptable for a christian to watch. Some kinds of movies are sinful. Many of the videos trending on social media and even our television programs are not edifying for our faith. We should avoid those kinds of movies that teach corruption and immorality.
