Knowing Our Future. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW.

There is a philosophy in the world which is not in agreement with the Bible. This philosophy is that whatever will be; will be. That is not biblical true. The Bible teaches us that we have a great deal to do about our future. In fact, we are actually shaping our future by the way we are living our lives today, whether knowingly or unknowingly. So, ce sera sera is not a biblical truth.

The Bible says that a man is as he is thinking in his heart. That means that our thoughts pattern will influence and decide our lives. Also, it says that what we says can brings us condemnation or justification. So, the future is shaped by how we talk. This has revealed to us that we are the ones who are shaping and deciding our future. It is not ce sera sera.

As the servants of God, we must know our future. We know our future to understand what God wants us to be or to do. We know our future so that we can decide what our purpose is. So, we have to know our future. A man's heart deviseth his way, so we have to plan and decide our future. God will direct our steps to fulfill the purpose of God.
