What God wants for us are prudent partners. God wants us to marry partners that will work together with us to do his will. Marriage was designed by God to assist man in fulfilling the purpose of God. When Adam was working alone in the garden, the Lord God said that it is not good for the man to be alone. So, He made a wife for Him. The woman was the wife.

The purpose of Eve in the life of Adam was to help him to take care of the garden which God made for him. We can say that our partners are meant by God to assist us in fulfilling the purpose of God for our lives.

A partner that will work together with us to do the commandments of God must be a prudent partner. A prudent person is someone who is wise. So, a wise partner is who we need to be married to so that we will be able to do and complete the task that God has prepared for us to come and do on earth.
