Worshipping God has nothing to do with worship of idols. God does not listen to idol worshippers. This is the pure truth. We can mix kerosene and water. They will never mix. So, God has no part to share with idols. Those who worship idols are incurring the wrath of God upon their lives. They are outrightly walking against the design of God for mankind. We must understand that God is not in any way partnering with idols. Idols are enemies of God because their master, the devil, is the enemy of God.

Many people are confused with this. They think that there are so many kinds of God. No, that isn't true. You do not have a long list of many gods from which you could pick from. Worship of idols came from the devil. Satan makes man think that he can make a god for himself and worship the same. That is the reason why there is so much evil in the world. Man has refused to follow the ways of the true God. They have found for themselves gods of their choice. They reject the laws of God.

Will God listen to an idol worshipper? No, God will not listen to someone who worships an idol. God will not answer their prayers. If God were to answer their prayers, to whom will be the glory? When the prayers of an idol worshipper is answered, would they ever recognize the living God? No, their evil heart will ascribe the glory of God to their idol. So, my God does not and will not answer an idol worshipper.
