Death sometimes means salvation according to the Bible.
We are expecting when our savior Jesus Christ will return. We are expecting our going to meet him in heaven. We are waiting for the promise that we will be with Him in heaven. We have lost some of our loved ones. We know that they are going home to meet with our Lord.

Yes, those who have died in Christ Jesus are going home. This is why death sometimes means salvation. When the righteous die, he is going to meet with the Lord and that means salvation. The Bible says that God takes away the righteous from the evil that is about to happen to him. So, there is hope that when this our flesh is destroyed, we shall meet with him in glory. Where we will be with Him and shall not die again.
