Marriage was Instituted by God. God planned that man should be married. He said that marrying is a good thing to do. When He observed that the man whom He has created was lonely, that was why He instructed marriage. He conducted the first wedding all by Himself in the Garden of Eden. So, there is nothing wrong about being married. We should get married if we want to. Anyone who desires marriage has the right and the privilege to do so. Marriage will even help us in performing the will of God. When we are together, we can compliment one another. As we do that, we are helping ourselves to do what God wants us to do.

There is no restrictions between marrying and receiving baptism. Baptism was also instructed by Jesus Christ. We must understand this. Baptism is an important part of our belief in Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ instructed that we must be baptized whenever we believe the gospel. Refusing to get baptized means that such a person does not want to obey the commandments of God. The Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ himself got baptized. Why did Jesus needed to be baptized? He accepted to be by John the Baptist because he did it to leave us an example. Following such an example is what is expected of us as the disciples of Jesus Christ.

There is no restrictions about marriage because of baptism. Equally there is no embargo on getting baptism due to marriage. A person who is married can receive the baptism the same way a person who is not married can also receive baptism. What we should keep away from us anything that is sinful and engagement is not a sinful thing. So, if you are engaged, you can also receive baptism.
