If I could touch your hands
Those hands that mold childhood games.
I would have one more reason for life
If I could look into your frank eyes
Those same eyes that cry out to me
love in a thousand deliveries
Surely the flowers would tell me a thousand
messages far from this melancholy
If I could hear your voice my daughter
There would be no place where it would not penetrate
celestial music or poetry
The rays of the sun each day would have meaning
While your girlish eyes full of cleanliness
Would give a reason for this old soul to....,
To come back to life
