"What do we do?" Hank asked, pacing around his office. "I gave all my sweat and blood to ensure that it all goes well without a glitch."

John sighs and shakes his head, "Honestly, I do not know myself. How many days did the building inspector give us?"

"Three days and if we can't find the public records on the first owner of the building, our structure would have to be demolished. I've called all my contacts, but no one knows anything. Who keeps a record like that lying around?"

Shantel, Hank's secretary walks in with a victorious grin plastered on her face, "I got the location of the public records." She announced, grinning.

"How?" Hank asked enveloping her in a hug.

"It's simple, we just didn't look in the right place. The public records of the building have always been at the state library, and it's still available to date."

"Are you sure?"

"I confirmed before coming here now."

"Thank God for small mercies. Congratulations to us, Hank, and well done, Shantel. Let's go close this deal."
