That positive obsession they mock today because it looks strange to them, will be the success they admire tomorrow
I personally think every successful person borders on obsession, and I think that should also be a fuel and a driving force

And no, I don't mean toxic obsession, I clarified "positive".
I sat down and I was thinking isn't passion and obsession are of similarities? I have passion to be an investor, where as someone can say I am obsessed of being an investor, I think both carries that driving force of determination. That's what I understand though.

Sometimes many has relate the obsession word as something being bad or toxic.
Do you know you can be obsessed with your fellow human being? Yes you can and in this aspect the fuel is called "feelings".

You have to be obsessed before you put more hours in content writing, you have to be obsessed before you to a musical practise as a instrumentalist or producer. You have to be obsessed with Art for you to be staying late night painting and drawing. You have to be obsessed to value your crafts over distraction.
You have to be obsessed to say no to irrelevant things that would affect your mind set.

You gat to be obsessed enough to be able to breakthrough difficult times in other to build something sustainable.
You have to be obsessed to keep learning when others are sleeping, gossiping and Netflixing if there's a word like that.

You have to obssesed enough to choose YouTube over TikTok and Instagram trends.
Podcast over parties.
You have to be obsessed to keep showing up for something that hasn't even started paying yet.

So now you get to understand why that word obsession plays a big role.

When doing this don't be surprised when the world calls it " DOING TOO MUCH". But neither do they know that behind every human "who is doing too much positively" is a human being TIRED of MEDIOCRITY.

You've tasted what real hustle and struggle looks like
You've tasted what lack looks like (no one might come to your aid).

Now you've vowed never to stay stagnant and be ridiculed.

We need a high or healthy level of Obsession to say

No, I can't come for the party. I have work to do.
I will spend this money on a course or Skill, not a fashion dress
I will wake up by 6am to pray, write and study.
I've failed ten times, but I will still show up regardless.

Being obsessed to becoming a better version of yourself is worth it.
If it makes you seems different, so be it
If it cost you a few friends, let them go.
If it makes you miss some trends, so be it.
If it makes people uncomfortable, perfect then.

They will laugh now but one day they would say wow I knew when it all started.
Your obsession today is your crown tomorrow.
