Political Promise.

Every term of leadership or every four years in my country Nigeria, the atmosphere changes either it becomes worse or remain stagnant. But most of the times since democracy operates it's just becoming worse, its just the same set of politicians telling same lies and promising to change and build the nation but its just to brainwash the citizens nothing more.

When I attend most of the rallies and campaign what I do hear if nothing but "a fresh start", "change", "nigeria is one" and " power to the people". But in reality I doubt if truly the country is really at unity, if there's power still belonging to the people because for a fact and base on past records all politicians say same thing but when gotten to power we are totally left behind, we will be ignored of our daily struggle and sufferings, to them they've gotten what they need, of course to embezzle more money from the government.

When never campaign is near or campaign has began they mingle with the ordinary citizens, they walk on street cheering local business people, they even attend religious centers to claim they too are religious and have a heart for the masses. All these are just to deceive the people. They know what they're looking for and immediately its gotten they pretend they don't know that same people from the streets. What a pathetic character!. I guess this happens in almost everywhere I'm the world, except countries that don't tolerate such evil and deceitful patterns.

So many promises will be said, nothing of those said promises will be fulfilled.
Example is, the areas of electricity and power, they would promise heaven on earth to provide 24hours electricity, promise to provide adequate water supply for every residential areas, promise for total electoral reform which some of us the literate ones all know its a big fat lie. They would just say that for us to give them the votes they want.

Not surprisingly to me, when the politicians finally entered everything they promised to do even gets worser, let me give an example of two major things that worsen this few past years.

The insecurity and corruption
Insecurities has swollen up the whole nation I must say, its very clear it's been politised just for retainment of power and riches. This how bad it has become, they don't care at all, always sacrificing innocent life's of citizens even the life's of the securities e.g the army isn't even safe anymore, the police are always over powered by this miscreant or bandits. Now imagine we the ordinary people or citizens that can't protect ourselves because of we don't possess fire arm. Its so sad and yet dangerous.

I sometimes wonder of we the people haven't realise that this people so cslled politicians its very few that really have us in mind, like only few wants to really do good amd keep to their promises, majority of them are just fighting for power and riches. Self enrichment with the countries wealth.

I hope someday the eyes of the people will be opened. Things will start working for the better.
I will be happy to vote or elect a visionary leader and strategist that wants real change and development.
My country shall and will be great again.
