If I could change... "PRIDE/Ego"

Pride comes before a FALL.

The Creator has sent us to this world to live in human life. It is a great thing to help people as humans and stand by people in times of danger and distress regardless of thier race, culture and ethnicity. However, there are people in this world who are too proud of themselves with the things they may have posses by entitlement or forceful achievement which result to excessive arrogant behavior and after a while of being arrogant, they have become nothing and their existence and name has been tarnished.

Its very wrong for our fellow human to show arrogance towards people either with money, food, water and even in giving out opportunities. Because of thier arrogant nature they refuse to pass out vital information to the needful. Those arrogant people end up dead at some point as a result of their arrogance.

Excessive arrogance destroys the mentality and humanity of human life and turns people into animals. The arrogance that is inside the arrogance burns out the good deeds in our minds and creates jealousy in the mind. So I think this sentence, the root of the fall of pride, is the most important in my life.

When I was in second year in the university, there's this lady who we knew of been intelligent but has an arrogant attitude and pride, she don't like mingling and it became easier for other people to distance ourselves from her. She have allowed it to be so use to her that she don't even know when she says some insulting statement. Since she's a lady most guys won't want to discipline her but rather talk back harshly or better still walk away.

Not until there was a schedule practical holding on a Saturday morning and it was compulsory and I remembered she wasn't on the group chat due to her phone issues which as at that particular time nobody knew of and the fact that so many people always frowned at her she wasn't called upon to come for the class and practical. Our lad technician wasn't in the position to redo another if any one misses. So she missed it and the allocated marks that affected her on the course that made her failed it.

Being in good terms with few people if not all, would have avoided.
There are alot of harmful things been arrogant can cause, like the lady I talked about earlier she missed a great opportunity and information that she really needed as a student.
Excessive arrogance can invite lots of enemies around, because arrogance triggers other people's anger even when they don't want to react maybe by belittling your fellow colleagues base on your are richer than them.
That's why I will always try to expose myself in a well-mannered way even when provoked its better you ignore and respectfully leave the premises to avoid further provocation.

There are many sayings prevalent in our society. But this saying about pride is the best for me. Because when I made this saying in my Bengali grammar book, and I started acting on this saying, this saying changed my life. Because when I stopped being proud, I started mixing with everyone. Good relationships were created with people, and I was able to make myself more viral than this saying helped change my life. It helped change my mindset and also helped prepare me to be a better person. So this saying is the best in my life, and I always try to follow this saying.

Have you been a victim of someone expressing pride?

I have seen that those who were arrogant at one point fell within a very short time. Since I follow this saying, I do not become arrogant with anyone, and from there I have been able to make myself a good-hearted person. I have manifested good mentality and good humanity.
