A Writer's Night DREAM
The Wildest Dream I've ever had,
Once content writing or any content creativity has been embedded into your blood nerves you think, sleep and work having your mind into content always, I mean all the time.
Dreams have a way of sneaking up on us quietly, like a shadow, and then suddenly they're everywhere in your thoughts. They carry parts of your memories, things you saw during the day, feelings you buried an tried not to think of, and even thoughts you didn't realize you had. Some dreams fade away the moment you wake up, but others like the one I had stayed with me like a song stuck in my head
It started like a normal day. In the dream, I was walking down a familiar street in my childhood neighborhood. The sun was shining, the air smelled like fried beans cake and old newspapers, and there we're children playing around, like with condemned vehicle tire and laughing, there was laughter everywhere. Everything felt so real that I didn't realize it was a dream, I could feel the heat of the sun on my skin then something weird happened. I looked up and noticed that the sky had cracked. Yes it cracked, like broken glass. A thin line ran across it, glowing faintly, like the sky itself was about to shatter. People around me didn't seem to notice it, but I couldn't take my eyes off it. And then, just like that the crack widened and a bright light poured out. It wasn't a scary light, it was warm, soft, and golden, like early morning sunshine.
I blinked, and suddenly, I wasn't on the street anymore. I was standing in a big library but not like any library I've ever seen. The shelves went up as high as the sky, and the books like a coated materials glue to the walls. I remembered standing there absolutely stunned until I started hearing gentle voices like people talking to themselves.
i found myself holding a book with no title, just smooth brown cove. I opened it and to my surprise it was filled with pages of my own handwriting. All my writings was arranged properly page by page, topic by topic.
"I HAVE BEEN SO INDULGE in something I now have dreams of myself doing it" is this just passion or there's something more. Though when we think and prepare your mind towards a thing, your brain cell tends to repeat it unconsciously.
As I flipped through the pages, the words started to rise off the paper and float around m, I was hearing words like "message well passed, stories well said and lesson well learnt".
Then immediately I woke up.
It took me awhile to process everything. I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling, wondering where all that came from. It was just a dream but later I asked myself is it "just"?.
The dream felt like a message, a reminder, a little push from somewhere deep inside me.
Since that night, I haven't stopped thinking about it. That's dream sort of reminder me who I was, who i can become as a constructive writer and story teller. It made me wants to write more and live better.
