My Favourite Quote
"Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live ife to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows."
~Michael Landon
I read this quote from someone's post online a few years ago, and it has stuck with me ever since.
For me, this quote translates in simpler terms to mean, "before you die, live." I can't begin to explain so much about this because it comes off quite self-explanatory.
With every new day, we draw closer to our end. One thar isn't even guaranteed to be very far off. So many of us go through life with a rigid, stiff approach, toiling very hard and hoping that one day we get to reap our harvest. We put so much fate in 'tomorrow' with the mindset that all of our hard work would pay off in the long run, and then and only then would we settle in to enjoy it all. Maybe that's why we save for the future, and I'm not saying that saving is bad. But for people like myself who would deprive themselves of not even luxury, but basic pleasures and memories in order that I get to enjoy them in the morrow, it is.
They say that tomorrow always comes. Every day. If we all relaxed a bit, lived life without a defiance, made every second count, had a softer approach to living, then maybe we would see and live life differently.
This quote serves as a warning and a reminder to me that there are only so many tomorrows, and the day that I exist right now should be my most important focus. I can't keep waiting for a new day, for a perfect time, for tomorrow to come before I take charge and start something new, or treat myself to niceties or just live for me. Cause tomorrow never comes, and life is fickle. I believe that if we lived everyday that it was our last day, we would give in our best, we'd be a little less laid back and more spontaneous just so we get the absolute best and savour every moment of time available. If we lived that way, we'd do everything we always wanted to without holding back and thered be less fear of making mistakes and learning from it. This is a very insightful quote and i hope that as you read it, it makes as much sense and speaks to you as it did me. Thanks.

Everyday is a day, every seconds is a second and every time is a time. It doesn't justify your scaping the best moments to achieve a task to tomorrow, because tomorrow is another tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
Today is what we have, tomorrow isn't even assured, this is why we must appreciate each day and treat it like our last because no one knows tomorrow.
