Last night was senior night and my cousin's daughter was honored as one of seven seniors from the team this year. She's an awesome young gal and yes, very very tall! :P

My mom HATED , at first, just a couple of months ago, going and having to sit through these games. Then, after some games, she learned to watch the scoreboard and she really likes when they SLAM / spike the ball! Now, she is always asking my aunt.. when is the next game?! :P
I also enjoy watching them play. I remember going to many a vball game back in high school. I tried out the summer before my freshman year, but alas, I am just not very athletically gifted and got cut pretty fast. Oh well, its just too tiring to actually play anyways.. i'd rather watch.
I also noticed that nowadays, the give a point to whoever wins the volley. that is, in my day, a team had to win a point by winning the volley, at the time when they served it. if u returned a serve and won that volley, it was just a side out and no point was given. I guess the games were too long sometimes so they made the new way of playing, I have to say it IS more fast and exciting!

Hmm, I am more used to just getting points if you're the serving team. But I guess the games can go faster the other way.
