It's hard to believe that each one of these 1 oz. gold coins is worth a bit more than my full months wages, before deductions, as a Nurse.
My former Financial advisor bristled at my strategy of incorporating physical precious metals into my portfolio. "It doesn't produce a yield." when translated it means, "It doesn't generate a fee for me."

Funny thing is he wanted me to sign a waiver that I went against his advice and then I loaded up on Sprott physical bullion ETF shares. That ETF is doing very well.
And to make a point I pulled out a roll of silver Maple Leafs and a gold Maple leaf for him to feel the actual coins. He admitted having never held real precious metals before.
