A small box cricket tournament.

Greetings everyone!

Cricket is the most played game in INDIA even more then our national sports. People love this game more then anything, even when the team INDIA won some national matches world cup etc. People are going on the road and celebrating with the fire crackers like they have got something in life. This type of crazy is there for cricket in INDIA. And yeah! I am also a huge fan of the cricket, I am playing this game regularly. Well yesterday was SUNDAY a holiday time as you all know. No work on this day everyone are free.

So one of our school senior friend have organize a small box cricket tournament in turf. There were almost 6 teams and divided in two half. In one table there were 3 teams and other table have also equal. So in both the tables every team have 2 matches which are present in their table. Out of 6 teams 4 teams will get qualify for semi-final and other 2 teams will get eliminate from the tournament. Tournament has been started from morning 8:00 A.M to evening 2:00 P.M. On time all the players were present and match has been started on time.

When we played our first match we get defeated from the opponent, but we won the other match with good innings which boost our team net run rate up. In our table out of 3 teams one team get defeat both the matches so yeah! we and one more get qualifies both the matches. After some time the semis get started and now matches were in the cross table as it is been done is professional matches. So yup anyhow we won the semis match very easily and we were qualified for the finals. So after qualifying in finals the first thing we ask the prize for winning , there was a liquid money cash for the winner team (no trophy) and also the liquid prize for every man of match (mom), best bowler, best batsman, and MVP of the tournament. So the winning price of the team was around 4300 rupees which means almost 52$.

Anyhow now the final match was very intense we had bowling in the first inning and opponent gave us the target of 148runs in game of 7overs. It was too tough for us to win and game was very intense. Because me and my friend open for batting in our inning and we made around 52runs in the first two overs and then we both get catch-out. But after that our team player made runs too quick he hit 65 runs in just 12 balls it was unbelieve able for us. Because when we both get out we were like now there is no hope of winning the match but he played too good. We all were shocked when he was hitting the sixes full an over.

Well let me tell you that it's turf and it's quiet easy to bang a bowler 6 sixes in over and even more then that if he put's no ball. And if we talk about the score board even its a chase able score but you need to maintain an average that you have to hit 4 sixes and over to complete the match. This is the game of turf, and over here there is a huge crazy to play cricket. And at last we won the match and take the money from the organizer.
