It is quite fascinating and at the same time scary on how technology is gradually creeping into our subconscious, I just came across a piece technology that combines AI to create something intriguing.

This mind blowing technology has the ability to record and play back your dreams to you.

At first, it sounded like something straight out of science fiction, I mean a device you could wear on your head that would let you watch your dreams like a movie sounds a little bit crazy. But when I read more about it, I realized the real story is both exciting and more limited than those bold headlines suggest.

Scientist in Japan, have been studying how to understand dreams using brain scans.

They use a big machine called an fMRI, which can see which parts of your brain are active while you sleep.

What this machine does is that it combines the scans with AI and is now able to know the images you are dreaming about.

For example, they might see that you were dreaming of a house, a face, or a tree.

It’s not like watching a high-definition video of your dream on a screen. The images they can recreate are blurry, black-and-white, and very basic. They rely on training the AI to recognize patterns in the brain’s activity and match them to things the person has seen before. So while the technology is real, it’s in its early stages and needs expensive equipment and complicated analysis.

For the first time, we have a way to peek into the private world of dreams.

I feel this could really be of great help to we humans because it could help us understand why we dream and what dreams mean for our emotions and memories.Therapists might one day use it to help people with nightmares or trauma.

Maybe Artist and writers can study their own dreams in a more detailed manner, they might find new inspirations.

Dreams are actually one of the most mysterious part of our minds and how technology is moving us closer to understanding that is very amazing.

Although achieving a realistic digital video of our dreams could take more years, but the work being done by this wonderful scientist today could be laying a great foundation for the future.
