Self-doubt wanted to hold me back from achieving my goals and realizing my potential. It is a mindset that can be changed. I recognize self-doubt is the first step and the common signs include negative self-talk, fear of failure or success, procrastination, comparison to others, and lack of confidence or self-trust.

I overcame self-doubt, challenged negative self-talk with evidence to the contrary, i equally practice self-compassion by treating myself with kindness, understanding, and patience. Focusing strengths me, i took small risks, seek support from positive people, practice mindfulness, and reframe failure as an opportunity for growth.

Building confidence and self-trust actually takes time, patience, and practice. I learned to set achievable goals, celebrate successes, practice self-reflection, and develop a growth mindset.
