A FAITHFUL DAY (THE RISE OF CESAR A.K.K CRUSHER)

Merlin was one of the G.O.A.T's when it comes to boxing, his a 3 time world Boxing champion. He has defended this title for the passed 3 years, unbeaten, with a whooping record of 25 Wins and 2 losses, 7 wins by K.O.
Merlin Colin was a beast, nobody wants to be in the boxing ring with the beast, it only ends one of two ways, either at the hospital or a quick retirement from boxing. Merlin was that good, he remained the best until Cesar Walter came into the picture.

Cesar was a young boxer from Toronto, he was orphaned at a young age, and was left in the street. That was when Cesar began to box, at age 17. He was trained by a retired boxer who failed to continue with his boxing career due to health issues, Cesar calls him Coach Malique.
Cesar got himself into many street fights, got knocked down a couple of times while he was trying to earn some cash, but he picked himself up every single time, trained more harder, learned more tricks and deadly combinations. He kept this up for a very long time until he evolved, he became a human machine, accurate, unpredictable and very precise with every move he makes, with each punch heading for massive destruction on the opponent. He achieve all this so he doesn't lose any fight whatsoever. Every fight he wins puts food on his table.

Eventually Cesar Walter grew tough, he became very strong and fast, he knew exactly how to take down an opponent. Rumor has it that he has taken down multiple opponents with just one punch. Cesar's punch weights about 70kg.
Boxing was a hustle to Cesar and not a career. He box's so he could feed himself, that's where he gets his daily bread, That was the only thing he knew and was truly good at.
Cesar has been on the streets for 12 years now, Boxing everyday of his life, just to earn some money.

Cesar became feared, nobody was going to accept a fight with him, giving that he was too strong and unpredictable. Cesar hasn't lost a single fight in the last 7 years. Anytime he encounters an opponent that's as strong as himself, or even stronger than he is, he uses strategies to win the fight. But he doesn't stop by winning the fight. He'd go back and train himself to become four times stronger than he previously was. He aimed to be the strongest boxer ever, such that nobody could ever beat him and take away his chances of eating the next day, it was all a Hustle.
This made other boxers fear Cesar, they wouldn't accept a fight proposal from him. This made Cesar really angry and the only way to work off his anger, was through more intense training.
Cesar was always training, and his coach, Malique noticed he has been spending a lot more time training, more than he ever was.

Coach Malique kept on wishing that ON "A FAITHFUL DAY, Cesar will make up his mind to leave the street and take boxing as a career. But over the years, Cesar has never spoken to him about anything regarding professional boxing. Coach Malique sees this temporal stagnation as a good chance to talk to Cesar about Professional Boxing.
Malique called Cesar and advised him to take boxing to the next level, giving how good he was, he could make a hell of a career. But there was a bigger problem, Cesar had no money. Coach Malique has been the one feeding him since the past month because he couldn't get any fights, how could he get himself into W.B.C or I.B.F.

He explained this to Coach Malique with so much pain and anger in his eyes, but Malique did not so much as flinch. He told Cesar; all it'd take me to get you onboard is willingness. The question now is; Cesar are you ready?

Cesar responded, Anything for the money coach, I'm in.
Malique made a few calls and pulled some strings. The following week, Cesar and Coach Malique were invited to the US, they'd accept Cesar but under 1 condition; he'd have to train with professional coaches for 3 months before they could get him his first opponent,
Cesar agreed, and signed.

When he got there, a young trainer was assigned to Cesar, but he refused him, he requested the best they had, and this is because he wanted a trainer who could stand him. But the manager of the gym where Cesar was assigned didn't understand why Cesar waved the trainer off like that, he got angry and walked up to Cesar and said;

Young man, you can't just come in here and behave like an animal, if you want to be here, you must follow instructions, do what you're told, when you're told, that's how you become a good boxer, you hear me?

Cesar; Alright man! I was just looking out for the young man, that's all.
Manager; what'd you mean by looking out for your trainer, he yelled at Cesar.

This attracted the attention of other young boxers training, that all bursted into laughter after hearing what Cesar said.

Manager; it's either you take Kaleb as you trainer or you walk out of my gym, your choice.
Cesar; (sighed and scoffed) responded alright boss what ever you say.

Kaleb; Alright man let's go get started, here are you boxing gloves, that's our station right there (he pointed) head on there, I'll be with you in a minute.

When Cesar got to their personal training space, he put on his boxing gloves and began to make some foot work, punching into the air, exhaling on each punch he throws. He was just getting himself warmed up, his actions got some persons attention, they stopped their training to watch him. Soon everyone in the gym was now watching Cesar, his foot work very unique, the speed of his hands and his body language, all like a pro's.

By the time he was satisfied from his warm up and was ready to get into the main training of the day, everyone stopped watching him, most of them pretend like they never watched and acted unimpressed, while the rest was still stunned even after Cesar finished warming up.
By the time Kaleb was done with what he was doing and came to the training Court, he found Cesar already prepared and set for training. He was impressed, he said to Cesar; why don't you show me what you got, standing behind a boxing pad.

Sure, Cesar said, hold the bag tightly and get a good stance, tell me when you're ready to start taking punches.
Kaleb was surprisingly said, okay bro! Are you the trainer now?, am I the trainee?
Cesar chuckled and said, I was only being fair, tell me when you're ready, he to his stance and bodyguard.
Kaleb was again surprised, he didn't teach him that, yet he's so perfect at it. He put himself together and said Ready, shoot.

Cesar landed a jab, and accompanied it a cross and then a left hook. The amount of force he disbursed from his left hook made Kaleb lose his grip on the boxing pad.

Woooh! Woooh! Woooh! You're really strong dude, Kaleb exclaimed.
Kaleb was impressed by Cesar's skills and strength. He knew he had to convince the board that Cesar was ready for a real fight in the World Boxing Council. Kaleb approached the board with confidence, "Gentlemen, I've seen some talented fighters in my day, but Cesar Walter is something special. He's got the skills, the strength, and the determination to take on the best of the best. I believe he's ready to make his debut in the WBC."

The board members looked at each other skeptically, but Kaleb continued, "I've seen him take down my pad with a single punch. He's got a unique style that's unpredictable and deadly. With the right sponsorship and guidance, I believe he can become a champion.

The board members nodded, impressed by Kaleb's conviction. They decided to give Cesar a chance, and his first match was set up against a relatively unknown opponent, Victor Martinez.

The match took place in a packed arena, with Cesar making his way to the ring amidst cheers and applause. Victor Martinez, on the other hand, looked confident and sure, ready to Fight. The bell rang, and the fight began.

Victor came out swinging some punches, Cesar tightened his guard, dodging all punches from Victor, then he began to retaliate. His punches, lightning fast and precise. Victor tried to defend himself, but Cesar's attacks were relentless, he didn't even know the area the punches came from. In exactly 15 minutes, Cesar landed a devastating combination, ending with his powerful left hook that sent Victor crashing to the canvas. The referee counted to ten, and it was all over. Cesar had won by knockout.

The crowd went wild, cheering and chanting his name, they had never seen a match like that before, Victor was carried out by the Calvary team for urgent medical care.
The board was even more surprised, they underated Cesar by 90% of his true capacity.
The began to get him into bigger fights, kicking it up a notch after every fight. Each time Cesar wins an opponent, the board gets him a match with a strong opponent.

Cesar's next few matches were just as impressive, with him winning most of them by knockout. He became known as "Crusher," the boxer who came out of nowhere and was slowly taking over the boxing industry.
As Cesar's fame grew, so did his fan base. He became a household name, with millions of followers on social media. His matches were highly anticipated, and his fans would eagerly await his next fight.
With Cesar's performance, the board signed him up for a tournament, all the way from states to regional then to national championship title belt.
It was a big deal to them, because they've never had a fight who made it passed the regionals.
But something was different with Cesar, they assumed he'll make it to regional, even if he doesn't get to Nationals.

The tournament began, Caser was scheduled for 6 fights with different opponents in the states, each fighter with a different set of skills, but non of them was a match for Cesar. He won all 6 matches by Knock Out. The board was impressed.
He proceeded to the regionals, Cesar was scheduled for 14 fight. Only one person can win the Regional Championship award.
Cesar fought like the Crusher he was, 6 wins by Knockout and 7 direct wins. It was down to one last opponent the last regional champion, who go off the tournament in the National quarter finals, last season, "Elliott Demone.

Every one anticipated the match, seeing how Crusher fights, Elliott brought his A game on the day of the match. He was being tricky, he'd not let Cesar close in on him, he kept on pacing backwards and when Cesar noticed it, he relaxed and allowed Elliott come to him, the moment he got his chances, he arranged an unbelievable combination that ended it with an upper cut. Elliott fell flat, bleeding through his ears and nose, the referee didn't need to count down to 10, it was an immediate win. Elliott was carried out by the Calvary team, straight to the hospital with an ambulance.

Cesar made it to Nationals, and he won.

And then, the biggest match of his career was announced: Cesar "Crusher" Walter vs. Merlin Colin "The Beast." The boxing world was abuzz with excitement, as two of the greatest fighters of all time prepared to face off in the ring.

The night of the fight arrived, and the arena was packed to capacity. Merlin Colin, the three-time world champion, was confident and determined. But Cesar was not intimidated. He knew he had the skills and the strength to take down the beast.

The bell rang, and the fight began. Both fighters came out swinging, each determined to prove their superiority. The fight was intense, with both men giving it their all. But in the end, Cesar's skills and determination paid off. He landed a devastating combination that sent Merlin crashing to the canvas.

The referee counted to ten, and it was all over. Cesar had won the championship belt title, making Merlin Colin the number 2 best in the world. The crowd went wild, cheering and chanting Cesar's name.

Coach Malique was overjoyed, tears of pride streaming down his face. "I knew you had it in you, Cesar," he said, hugging his fighter tightly. "You're a champion, and you'll always be a champion."

Cesar's fame reached new heights after the fight. He was interviewed on live TV, and his fans couldn't get enough of him. And then, he received an invitation to attend a national live podcast, "The Jonathan Smith Show."

Cesar sat down with Jonathan Smith, who looked at him with admiration. "Cesar, you've come a long way since your days on the streets," he said. "Where were you the whole time?"

Cesar looked up, his eyes misting over. "Well, I was on the streets, feeding from hand to mouth," he said. "All I knew how to do was fight. I had to win a fight just to find some cash for food. To me, boxing was just a hustle, a way to survive."

Jonathan Smith's expression softened, and he reached out to comfort Cesar. "I'm so sorry, Cesar," he said. "You're an inspiration to us all."

Cesar smiled, his eyes still misting over. "Thank you, Jonathan," he said.

Jonathan Smith asked another question, "What motivates you in a fight?"

Cesar's expression turned serious. "The fact that I mustn't lose the fight," he said. "For every fight I lose, food is directly taken out of my mouth. That has always been my motivation. It made me work really hard, training beyond human imagination. I couldn't lose a fight because I couldn't afford to."

The audience was silent, mesmerized by Cesar's words. Jonathan Smith nodded, a look of admiration on his face. "Cesar Walter, you're a true champion," he said. "And your victory over Merlin Colin was one for the ages. Thank you for sharing your story with us tonight."

The podcast ended with Cesar's fans cheering and applauding, as Cesar smiled humbly, feeling grateful for the opportunity to share his story. As he left the stage, he was met with a sea of fans, all clamoring for his attention, wanting to take selfies and get his autograph. Cesar obliged, happy to meet his fans and thank them for their support.
Coach Malique was beaming with pride, knowing that Cesar's success was not just about his skills in the ring, but also about his humility and kindness outside of it. As they walked away from the studio, Coach Malique turned to Cesar and said, "You're not just a champion, Cesar. You're a role model." Cesar smiled, knowing that he had made a difference in people's lives, and that his story would inspire others to chase their dreams, no matter how impossible they seemed.
