[ENG-ESP] A new home for my dogs / Un nuevo hogar para mis perros

Today I have come to bring you what was the process of creating a little house for my little dogs with materials that were in the yard ♻️. Putting them a bit in context 🤔, I had already made a little house for my little dogs before, but it was too big and it was on a sandbank. Plus, that the roof of this one was a super huge gate. Recently my cousin bought my grandmother's house and put up her partition wall leaving us with less land than before 😭. My mom is not one for having animals inside the house. So I had to think of a solution to save space and safety for my 2 canine friends. Let's get to work 😼.

El día de hoy he venido a traerles lo que fue el proceso de la creación de una casita para mis perritas con materiales que había en el patio ♻️. Espero que les guste este post y apoyen mi contenido, así que comenzamos.
Poniéndolos un poco en contexto 🤔, ya había fabricado antes una casita para mis perritas, pero era muy grande y estaba sobre un banco de arena. Además, que el techo de esta era un portón superenorme. Hace poco mi primo compró la casa de mi abuela y colocó su pared de división dejándonos con menos terreno que antes 😭. Mi madre no es de tener animales dentro de la casa. Así que tenía que pensar en una solución para ahorrar espacio y seguridad para mis 2 amigas caninas. Manos a la obra 😼.
To start I chose one of the corners that is between the neighbor's house and the wall that my cousin put up. 😁 This is the perfect spot, since if it rains the walls are high and would mitigate a bit the rain from 2 places 🌧️. I took 2 old frames from an old bed and used them as support for the walls.
Para comenzar elegí una de las esquinas que está entre la casa del vecino y la pared que colocó mi primo. 😁 Este es el lugar perfecto, ya que si llueve las paredes son altas y mitigarían un poco la lluvia de 2 lugares 🌧️. Tomé 2 marcos viejos de una antigua cama y los usé como soporte para las paredes.
As I don't want Rosario and Esmeralda to get their paws wet in the rain 🌧️, I placed a half pipe at the bottom of what will be their house to drain the water running down the wall and on top of this a floor of boards as a support 🏠. After this I left a space where I could put feeders or water so that the sun does not heat it.
Como no quiero que Rosario y Esmeralda se mojen las patas en la lluvia 🌧️, coloqué una media tubería al fondo de lo que será su casa para drenar el agua que corra por la pared y sobre esta un piso de tablas a modo de soporte 🏠. Después de esto dejé un espacio en el que se le podría poner comederos o el agua para que el sol no la caliente.
I placed a support where the roof will go. For which I used 2 large can lids I had 🏠. A third can would be fixed to the floor as a support adding stability to the base. Since I wanted the ceiling to be a little high, I attached both cans for the ceiling and raised them by placing a bracket 💪🏻 in the center. This will keep the water from sitting on the top of the house and going down to the floor. In addition to adding a little more freshness inside 🍃.
Coloqué un soporte donde irá el techo. Para el cual usé 2 tapas de lata grandes que tenía 🏠. Una tercera lata iría fijada en el piso como soporte agregando estabilidad a la base. Como quería que el techo quedara un poco alto, uní ambas latas para el techo y las levanté colocando en el centro un soporte 💪🏻. Esto servirá para que el agua no se quede arriba de la casita y baje al suelo. Además de agregar un poco más de frescura en su interior 🍃.
Using very very large bags I covered the ceiling to prevent water from seeping in and adding waterproofing so that the water goes down to the ground and finally I put a grid that will make a window hehe 🪟. This will be merely decorative. I placed their feeders near the house and an air conditioner housing (also roofed) to take care of the outside 💧. Here in my house a lot of toads come out when it rains, that will teach them to keep in line hehe 🐸😆.
Utilizando bolsas muy muy grandes, cubrí el techo para evitar que el agua se filtre y agregando impermeabilidad para que el agua baje al suelo y finalmente le coloque una rejilla que hará de ventana jeje 🪟. Esto será algo meramente decorativo. Coloqué sus comederos cerca de la casa y una carcasa de aire acondicionado (también techado) para cuidar del exterior 💧. Aquí en mi casa salen muchos sapos cuando llueve, eso les enseñará a mantenerse a raya jeje 🐸😆.
Gualá, the new house of my dogs is completely ready 🏠. Now they have a smaller space than the previous one, but ideal for the 2 of them. And boy do they like it hehe 🤭, just 2 days after they used it, they already sleep in it and suffice it to say that during the rains it was a success 😁. My little friends stay dry and happy.
Gualá, la nueva casa de mis perritas está completamente lista 🏠. Ahora tienen un espacio más reducido que el anterior, pero ideal para ellas 2. Y vaya que les gusta jeje 🤭, justo 2 días después la usaron, ya duermen en ellas y basta decir que durante las lluvias fue un éxito 😁. Mis pequeñas amigas se mantienen secas y felices.
