Quiet moves, loud results...
There are those individuals who get accustomed to telling all and sundry that they are going to do this or that. They blow one too much trump about what they are about to do next that everybody in the world is aware of it even before its commencement.
I would like to tell a small truth, which is likely to spare you a lot of unnecessary heartbreak, people who boast of their triumphs before the race is even begun, never finish the race.
It is not always due to the reason that they never tried, it is due to life. It does not go as planned. And before the dream has come into blossom, other people say things which sow the seeds of doubt.
A lot of people do really want to make moves in a silent manner but fail to realize how they will do it, announcing your success before it arrives has a lot of downsides attached to it.
Imagine that you were called to that interview and since you are indeed very positive about the job, you decide to share it online, tell your friends and families about the next big career change and how you are going to be really soon getting employed within the company but you go to the interview you were not short listed.
Retracing your steps to report the sad news to your fellow friends will not make you feel good I suppose, now imagine that this happens like three to four instances in a row, and on each occasion that it occurs it really puts you in a bad position and you just wished you had a way of covering the shame, but if you had simply kept your lips tight about the information in the very first instance, this shame would have been avoided.
It is different kind of joy when you silently work and silently struggle to get what you dream, and then when the fruit is ripe, people have the chance to see it just by themselves. There is no need to explain. There is no need to apologise. The success speaks a language louder than an announcement.
The other unknown risk of telling everybody your plan is that it serves as a golden chance to them to talk you out of your plan. The people involved in your circle do not necessarily all see eye to eye on your vision.
There will be people who will argue with you, those who will tear it apart and some who will want to make you quit even before you had started. Dreams do not die, most of the times, not due to its impossibility, but it was introduced to the wrong ears at the wrong moment.
Therefore, rather than putting your plans in the wind like breadcrumbs, get a mentor or a person of knowledge in your fields. Be willing to talk with someone who can nurture, polish and make your idea grow stronger, without trying to chip it to pieces.
