RE: Sam’s Hangout #82 -”STORY TIME”

Alot of stories have been told,I even recently wrote about one in one community, can't remember . I have heard a lot but many has fade away.
One I can remember again is about tortoise who lied that he is sick to his wife and children just bcos his wife just cooked a delicious meal, porridge his best food and he wanted to be greedy, he told his wife to go to market and get him herbs and told his children to go to his neighbors house to play that he want to rest,all this just so that he can be alone. When they all left ,he went to the kitchen and he almost finished the porridge, when he heard the door opened he rush to put the rest under his cap on his head and run back to bed ,when his wife got back and get to the kitchen to prepare the herbs,she found out there is no porridge in the pot anymore, so she went to her husband (tortoise) by that time tortoise couldn't hold up to the hotness he feels on his head ,he opened his cap , a handful of porridge dropped, he shouted his head, his wife saw that his head had been burned by the porridge, well with every effort to make hair grow back there ,all was abortive . That is why till today, tortoise has no hair .

This is one of the stories I could remember .
