TACKLING ISSUES AS PRESIDENT

Oh, if this didn't just end in writing right now. If I could be present at this moment, it would be so good cause there's so much that needs working on in this country.

Two struggles of the citizens that I'd tackle and the first one will be hunger and scarcity. Kai! People are really suffering and maybe I've always known this but I may not have been aware of how severe it is if I were not living on my own. Ever since staying alone, I began to truly see for myself and understand how uneasy life can be. And then it made me appreciate a lot of seemingly 'little' things and/or gestures more.

I feel like irrespective of how bad things are or whatever mess a person or their country is in, food is one thing they should not lack. I mean, it's only fair that amidst every struggle, food shouldn't be one to them. Starvation is like punishment. And particularly for anyone who doesn't sit around waiting for goodies to fall at their feet but work hard, day and/or night, food should be a least worry. It shouldn't even ge something to be worried about. Food is a basic necessity. As president, I'd make sure that the prices of foodstuff are subsidized .

Next up for me would be employment. I feel so bad every time, which is literally everyday, I realize how bad the employment and economic situation of this country is. Yearly, there's a teeming population of students leaving various universities and venturing out into the labpur market, but for most of them, there are no job opportunities. Many finish off and have to do jobs beneath what they should inordder to survive. A few are lucky to start small businesses, and it's worse for a lot of others. Jobs are reserved for those with power, connection, and the privileged. It's scary and can be devastating and demoralizing what then the future holds for students and intending. As president, I'd ensure thar there'd be job opportunities in order to have citizens meaningfully engaged and, by extension, to grow our economy and the nation.

Nigeria has so much that should be worked on. Every sector needs to be looked into and reconstructed. From the health sector, to education, to security, to transportation, and the list is endless. I really wish a revamp happened. We need it terribly.
