MY MOBILE DEVICE // LOH #234
Three days ago, made it a year since I began using my current phone. A few months prior, I had gotten one and hadn't even had it for a week before it got stolen. For some reason, I promised myself I was going to get another device that was far better. And I did.
I recall quite clearly all of the events leading up to getting my current phone.

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the brand device that I currently use. It's been all love since I was just a kid. Love fuelled by all the good things I ever heard of the brand that grew with/in me up until date. And since taking a liken to it, I'd never looked away. It doesn't matter what other brand I am looking at and how greatly it fares and towers over what I own, I wouldn't give it a second look. Maybe for a second, i may, but that would br all. Cause of this I try as I can to stay abreast with tech updates(also because people like to talk to me for recommendations and just seek my help/opinion on gadgets -phones in particular).
I remember that the day I went to pick this phone from the delivery company where it was weighbilled to, by my brother, I didn't know I was going to be getting this one. It was supposed to be another high-end transission phone. I wasn't even happy about it, and I kept murmuring under my breath cause of the stress I had to go through the entire day.
Well, I got home and unwrapped the package with disinterest. On opening it and seeing the content, I couldn't contain the scream that escaped my mouth. I kept screaming for joy even as I put a call through to my brother(oh, I didn't mention. I was using my dad's android in that time). Finally, I got to use a Samsung device. Yeah, it's Samsung for me. And you know what? That's one brand I look forward to owning every single gadget/device(not just phones) that they have out there. A year later, I don't feel indifferent about my phone or the brand.
I've been having it good with this phone. I can't tell you one crucial time that it served the most because it's been doing the job. The speed and network connectivity are just superb. It fell into water once and even though I got it out just as quickly as it got in, for a second I was scared of it developing issues but on wiping it dry, it just sort of re-occured to me that, "hey, have you forgotten so quick that this is a solid product," and I relaxed. From battery life, to screen display to camera/video quality to connectivity to storage to sleekness...this phone does the job.
Regardless, I've thought about letting go of it. Oh, no! Not change brands. Just to upgrade from this one. I had planned to do that after one year of use, but I don't see that happening yet. While there's been not one single issue with this one, I also can not afford an upgrade now. And that's fine.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!

Now I'm really tempted to try out a Samsung brand for my next phone, I still enjoy using my redmi but was thinking of owning an iPhone soon. Your words about Samsung is quite convincing, I'll make my choice when I'm ready hehe.

Samsung is just my preference, and I like the space enough not to talk down on the product. Iphone is good too anyway. I'm sure that whichever one you go for will serve you.
I started using using Samsung two months ago. And I love it so much. Especially battery life and how smoothly it runs.
I've had my Samsung A8 for over 7 years, and hasn't failed me yet except now I cannot fit all the apps I use most and battery fatigue. It still took great pictures and I got as much mileage as I could. It's an old friend. Time for me to get a new one.
