MY DIGITAL LAYOUT // SAME-OLD, SAME-OLD

I like to think that I'm old school. I've said it a number of times in some of my posts that I am crude. Quite traditional, maybe.

The last time I had my picture as my wallpaper was about, say, five years ago(not less). And the last time that i used just a random picture as my lock-/home-screen was well over a year ago. If I remember right, it was some Bible verse that some guy had in passing while taking me on a home tutorial made reference to. That was the last time.

I don't even do ringtones anymore. I can't even remember when. My phone's always on silent mode. For over three years now. Don't ask me how, but I never miss my calls. Or, I rarely do.

Here's the thing...

See, I use my phone all the time or almost all the time. And from time immemorial, I've not been one to he fazed for pretty, artistic layouts. I'm more concerned about picking up my phone and using it for the reason why I picked it up in the first place rather than for drooling over how fancy my background images and app fonts are.

I also get that some people are concerned about organizing apps that serve almost similar purposes like: 'Whatsapp, Instagram,...in Socials,' 'Bybit, Binance,...in crypto,' and all of that, but I'm not.

I rarely make adjustments to how things are kept on my phones layout. The only reason(s) that I may do, is, if it makes me dizzy and tha happens when I feel like I have too many apps(which is a rarity) and so much going on. It's okay for me that I know where every app and tool in my phone is and that i can access them with my eyes closed. Literally.

What is important to me is having an organized, calming layout. Like having no extra applications floating around in my homepage but for the customized ones as the phone came in. And even that could be adjusted if I feel it's doing too much than I appreciate.

Right now, my phone's layout is just in the way that it came in. I'm okay with it since it aligns with my vibe. It's cool, organized, and simple. Gives less to be distracted by. Plus, it appeals more to me because the background image gives a soft, calming sensation that never has me feeling heady. To make it even better, the brightness of the phone is at the lowest, and so it just goes.

I'm not the new-year, new-me and whatnot kind, so...no! There's nothing that I would change. I didn't feel like it when I was way younger and quite had the time to care(barely), and I don't feel like now. And it's okay for and by me.

Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!

What I do now I just manage my notifications down to the nitty gritty so I don't miss what's important rather than always keep my phone silent. But you manage somehow, so that's good.
