MONETIZABLE HANDIWORK
The thoughts about what would happen to the world(like what changes might occur) if out of the blues, technology goes inexistent has cone to my mind so many times. I would think about human overdependence and how heavily people have built their worlds and lives around the internet and it really is a pain to think what would become of us, how we'd cope and even how a number of us might have to start all over if it all comes to a halt.
I know it's mere thoughts, and it's very unlikely that such could happen, but I sometimes can't help but think about how different life might be.

As students, and in this part of the world, we're encouraged to, in addition to our studies and academic pursuits, pick up skills. This is so because the level of unemployment in the country is devastating. Far too many people, than, should be the case are making their living from jobs which are not even faintly related to what they studied. And for a good number of them, it's from the skills that they learned which they monetized.
And then, a number of these skills are digitalis- put on the internet space inorder to get a wider audience and better reach. A good number are online jobs ranging from digital marketing to ghostwriting, copywriters, web development, cyber security, ethical hacking, and content creation, to mention just a few. So it only makes sense to ponder what becomes of us if these skills and jobs that we spend more time pushing online can no longer be online.
I picked up a few skills sometime back. For some of th3m, I dumped halfway, and then for the rest, I just wasn't disciplined and dedicated enough to follow through. Notwithstanding, I still think that I have one or two which I could make something from if I choose to pursue them or if something, just like the occurrence so discussed, ever happens.
One of such skills is writing. I used to write a lot and still do. And around here, I need not explain to you all how well people who are versed in writing are sort for and even as freelancers, we know the opportunities available and the different contents they could get involved in and make it big from.
There's also the nail care skill. This is one that I dumped, though, but I still know my way around. So, fixing artificial nails, nail polishing, and all things nail care it could be for me. Our nails are important and always have to be neat and pretty. And for my ladies, we never compromise or hold back from having them look cute. So, there's some good money in there too.
There's also the production aspect. I could bake or even make a number of household products and have them sold. All I would need to do is some aggressive marketing.
Last, not least, there's farming. It's a goldmine here, and I love to get my hands dirty. I might not even do so much. I could just use the lands in my disposal and focus on plantain, pepper, and vegetable farming. They're equally lucrative. And dont tell me that farming/gatdening isn't a skill cause, brooooo, it is! See!? There's a lot of them, but let's wrap it up here.
Oh, and dont forget! Im a teacher, too. A helluva good one at that. All right ...bye.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
For so many years we humans have adapted and are now dependent on internet and technology as a whole. It would be a fatal disaster of it ever occur that internet and technology suddenly stops being a thing.
Farming will always remain relevant as it is the only direct source of food for both humans and animals.
