ABOUT MY NETWORK PROVIDER
I had always used the Etisalat(now called 9mobile) network. Around this time last year, the sim started to act up, and I was advised to retrieve. On getting there, I was told that the name registered to the sim wasn't mine but someone else's. For a sim that I had used for over eight years, I was beyond shocked. But that story wasn't new to me, so I just shrugged the whole thing off and went to get a new sim card. This time, an mtn sim, seeing how scarce 9mobile outlets have become around here.

My experience with the mtn network has been good enough. The network connection is fairly stable, although it acts up every now and then. But i have to be sincere and say that being that I've been so reliant and used to 9mobile, the mtn service experience feels a little underwhelming.
I chose mtn over the others(9mobile aside) cause it has a stronger, wider reach, and everyone seems to trust its effectivity. Even in rural areas, the service seems to rule than the rest of the others. The subscription plans are fair too, and it just felt like the right one to go for.
Unfortunately, it has failed me. One of the many times was only recently when I was in this online class/meeting. Just when it was approaching my time to contribute to the topic and do my presentation, I was met with the connection error message. I turned my data on and off to no avail. I checked and saw I still had enough data left to last the time. I still went on to top my subscription. Nothing changed. I turned airplane mode on and off to no avail. I was a little nervous at this point. I took out the sim and inserted it back. This time, it read, 'no Sim card - emergency calls only.' I was so pissed. Over thirty minutes later, the sim came back on, but by that time, the meeting was over, and I saw that I had gotten many mentions and private texts. I was so possed cause that incident cost me. I'm still using the sim, and it's just good. I'd have gotten another, but aside from my preference for one sim, my phone allows just one slot. That's it.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
9mobile used to be good as Etisalat those days, since they became 9mobile they became really wack.
