Fantastic and well thought out reflection. Social media can be whatever we want it to be, and for many it's a mask or a persona that they show and not the real thing.

Everything is stage managed and perfect.

It reminds me of that movie Martha Inc., where Martha Stewart had this carefully crafted persona of being the perfect housewife and mother, but outside the media empire her marriage was in shambles and she was a micro managing diva who through everything away to give fake impressions to people.

She sold a lifestyle to others she didn't have.

That's social media.
