I have personally tested 5 flagship dashcams from 5 different vendors, (each well over $350 in price) and discovered that "4K" is nothining but marketing hype. Meaningless. What really matters the most is video-stream BITRATE (compresion) and HDR performance. Specially at night
No cam could beat VIOFO A229 PRO 2CH in my tests (even when costing more and/or "claiming" better/higher numbers on paper.

I'm not sure... I had to keep an eye on the price too. I will not pay over $200 for a dashcam.
