Wire-encapsulation technique: Bracelet and earrings [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, fellow craft lovers! Welcome back to my workshop @bricolajedc. This time, I would like to continue with the Encapsulated Spheres to make a bracelet and earrings using this wire encapsulation technique, which I love. Join me and I'll show you the creative process.

Les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi taller @bricolajedc, en esta oportunidad me gustaría continuar con la serie Esferas encapsuladas para realizar un Brazalete y aretes con esta técnica de encapsular con alambre, que me encanta. Acompáñenme y les muestro el proceso creativo.

Materials:

#18 gauge hypoallergenic wire
#26 gauge hypoallergenic wire
2 amber glass beads
16 #8 amber Murano crystals

In addition to these simple materials, we will need jewelry pliers: flat-nose pliers, 6-in-1 mandrel pliers, needle-nose pliers, silicone pliers, and straight-cut pliers. And a measuring tape.

Materiales:

To begin, we will encapsulate it in the same way as in the previous post. Place the sphere inside a spiral with five turns each.

Para comenzar, haremos el encapsulado igual que en el post anterior. Colocando la esfera dentro de un espiral de 5 vueltas cada uno.

Once we have the two spheres encapsulated, we will make three rolls of wire. These will be the central pieces of this set.

Una vez que tenemos las 2 esferas encapsuladas, vamos a hacer 3 rollos de alambre. Estos serán las piezas centrales de este set.

For the rolls, take the wire and cut the tip straight so that it does not hurt or get tangled in anything. Then heat the wire with the silicone tongs for better handling.

Para los rollos, vamos a tomar el alambre y cortamos la punta recta para que no lastime ni se enrede en nada. Luego vamos a calentar el alambre con la pinza de silicona para un mejor manejo.

With the help of the mandrel clamp, we will make a spiral. Then we continue with our fingers until we achieve 6 turns of the spiral.

Con ayuda de la pinza mandril, vamos a hacer un espiral. Luego continuamos con nuestros dedos hasta logras 6 vueltas del espiral.

Once we have the spiral, we measure 9 centimeters of wire and cut it to make another spiral in the opposite direction.

Una vez que tenemos el espiral, medimos 9 centímetros de alambre y cortamos para hacer otro espiral en sentido contrario.

Using the tip of the mandrel pliers, push all the coils of the spiral apart to open them up. Turn the other spiral in the opposite direction and do the same so that it forms a kind of spring.

Con la punta de la pinza mandril, vamos a empujar todas las vueltas del espiral para abrirlas. Giramos en sentido contrario el otro espiral y hacemos lo mismo para que quede una especia de resorte.

We will pass a piece of wire through the center of the spring and make a loop on each side to then attach it to the glass spheres that we have already encapsulated.

Vamos a pasar un tramo de alambre por el centro del resorte y hacemos una argolla de cada lado para luego unirlo a las esferas de cristal que ya encapsulamos.

Now that the center is ready, we can make the rings for the bracelet. For this, we will need the #6 mandrel pliers and the straight-cut pliers.

Ya con el centro listo podemos hacer las argollas del brazalete. Para esto vamos a necesitar la pinza mandril en el #6 y la pinza de corte recto.

We need two rings for each link in the chain that we will make for the bracelet. Continue until it is 17 centimeters long.

Necesitamos 2 argollas por cada eslabón de la cadena que haremos del brazalete. Hasta completar 17 centímetros de largo.

To finish, we will make a double hook and a double ring, placing each one at the end of the bracelet. And that's it!

Para cerrar, haremos un anzuelo doble y una argolla doble, colocamos cada uno al final de los extremos del brazalete. Y listo!

For the earrings, take the #18 wire directly from the roll and make a simple hook. Measure 5 centimeters from the base and cut.

Para los aretes, vamos a tomar el alambre #18 directamente del rollo y hacemos un anzuelo sencillo. Contamos 5 centímetros de la base y cortamos.

We take the #26 wire and insert 8 crystals.

Tomamos el alambre #26 y vamos introducir 8 cristales.

Let's screw it into the base of the earring. Place a crystal and wrap the wire around five times to place another crystal, and continue until you complete the section.

Vamos a enroscar en la base del arete. Colocamos un cristal y damos 5 vueltas al alambre para colocar otro cristal y así hasta completas el tramo.

We make a hoop to close it, and that's where we'll place one of the springs we made earlier.

We repeat the process as closely as possible to make the pair of earrings.

Hacemos un aro para cerrar y es donde vamos a colocar un resorte de los que hicimos anteriormente.

Repetimos lo más parecido posible para hacer el par de aretes.

And that's how our dangling earrings turn out. I like this type of earring because they are elegant and very simple.

Y así quedan nuestros aretes colgantes. Me gusta este tipo de aretes porque son elegantes y muy sencillos.
