Greetings friends who love arts and crafts! Welcome once again to my Bricolaje DC Workshop. Today I am pleased to join the Pink Month Contest 💞🎗 where we join together to fight against breast cancer. To participate I have prepared a set of 3 pink bracelets using different techniques. Join me and I'll show you what it's all about.

Hoy me complace sumarme al Pink Month Contest 💞🎗 donde nos unimos para luchar contra el cáncer de mama. Para participar he preparado un juego de 3 pulseras rosa utilizando diferentes técnicas. Acompáñenme y les muestro de qué se trata.

Materials:

For this project we will be using a mostscilla loom, cutting and flat tweezers, a scissors lighter, paper tape, graph paper sheet and pink and gold markers.

Para este proyecto vamos a utilizar un telar para mostacilla, pinzas de corte y plana, un encendedor tijera, cinta adhesiva de papel, hoja de papel cuadriculado y marcadores rosa y dorado

Mostscillas de colores rosa pastel, dorado y blanco
Canutillo blanco
Hilo chino rosa nacarado
Balines dorados
Alambre de bisutería #26
Hilo de nilón

The first thing we are going to make is the pattern for the wider bracelet. In this case I would like to have the characteristic pink bow in the center of the bracelet. I made it with a golden border. And some pink and gold lines on the sides.

Lo primero que vamos a hacer es el patrón para el brazalete más ancho. En este caso me gustaría que quedara el característico lazo rosa en el centro del brazalete. Lo hice con un borde dorado. Y algunas líneas rosa y dorada por los lados.

Once we have the design, we are going to assemble the loom. In this case there are 8 rows of mustard, so we need 7 strands of nylon thread in the center and 2 strands of Chinese thread on the sides.

Una vez que tenemos el diseño, vamos a montar el telar. En este caso son 8 filas de mostacilla, por lo que necesitamos 7 hebras de hilo de nilón en el centro y 2 hebras de hilo Chino por los laterales.

Measure 2 and a half meters of nylon thread and attach it to one of the ends of the Chinese thread, leaving 9 centimeters of separation (these 9 centimeters will be used to make the slip knot).

Medimos 2 metros y medio de hilo de nilón y lo vamos a vamos a sujetar de uno de los extremos de hilo Chino, dejando 9 centímetros de separación (estos 9 centímetros van a servir para hacer el nudo corredizo)

We begin to transfer the pattern design to the loom. This is undoubtedly my favorite part, seeing how little by little the figure we have designed is formed.

Comenzamos a pasar el diseño del patrón al telar. Esta sin duda es mi parte favorita, ver como poco a poco se forma la figura que hemos diseñado.

To do this weaving correctly, we will pass the row of mustard under the loom threads and return the needle over the threads, taking care to pick up each of the 9 nylon threads and the 2 Chinese threads.

Para hacer este tejido correctamente, vamos a pasar la fila de mostacilla por debajo de los hilos del telar y regresamos la aguja por encima de los hilos, cuidando tomar cada uno de los 9 hilos de nilón y los 2 de hilo Chino.

We repeat this procedure as many times as necessary until the weaving process is finished. It would look something like this:

Repetimos este procedimiento las veces que sean necesarias hasta terminar el proceso de tejido. Sería algo como esto:

When we finish the pattern design, we are going to make a reduction of beads by removing 2 from each row and we make 9 flat knots with the Chinese thread. We cut and burn the nylon threads and place some golden balls on each of the ends of the Chinese thread.

Cuando terminamos el diseño del patrón, vamos a hacer una reducción de mostacillas quitando 2 de cada fila y hacemos 9 nudos planos con el hilo chino. Cortamos y quemamos los hilos de nilón y colocamos unos balines dorados en cada uno de los extremos de hilo chino.

The companions are much simpler. For the bead bracelet. We will take 2 strands of pink Chinese thread and we will place them on the loom leaving 4 spaces.

Then we begin to weave by placing the bead underneath and passing the needle over the base threads.

I interspaced 2 white beads, pink beads, beads and gold beads. This created a very pretty pattern.

And for the simple bracelet pattern, we took 2 pieces of Chinese thread of 60 centimeters. We place them on the loom and we make 2 sections of 6 flat knots. Between both sections we are going to place the wire and turning over the Chinese thread we insert the golden balls.

Our 3 pink bracelets are ready.

Las acompañantes son mucho más sencillas. Para la pulsera de canutillo. Tomaremos 2 hebras de hilo Chino de color rosa y las vamos a colocar en el telar dejando 4 espacios.

Luego comenzamos a tejer colocando el canutillo por debajo y pasando la aguja por encima de los hilos de base.

Intercalé 2 canutillos de color blanco, mostacilla rosa, canutillo y mostacilla dorada. Así se creó un patrón muy bonito.

Y para el modelo de pulsera sencilla, tomamos 2 trozos de hilo Chino de 60 centímetros. Col colocamos en el telar y hacemos 2 tramos de 6 nudos planos. Entre ambos tramos vamos a colocar el alambre y dando vueltas sobre el hilo Chino insertamos los balines dorados.

Están listas nuestras 3 pulseras rosa.
