Greetings, friends! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I want to show you a little bit about what the city where I was born really means to me and why I am grateful to have the opportunity to live here.
I have mentioned before how religious the community of Táriba, in the state of Táchira, Venezuela, is.
People are entrusted to the Virgin of Consolation of Táriba even before they are born. That is why her image guards the entrance to the city.
In addition to the Basilica, I think this is one of the things that represents us as people of Táriba and gives us a sense of belonging. This enormous cement statue is over two and a half meters tall.
Coincidentally, I took the photos while a beautiful little bee was doing its pollinating work on the flowers that adorn the main avenue.
I am really proud of this city. While I was abroad, I was content with the nostalgia I felt when I saw photos of these places that are so dear to us, and I found solace in my fond memories.

Saludos amigos! Les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi blog, en esta oportunidad quiero mostrarles un poco lo que realmente representa la ciudad dónde nací y donde agradezco tener la oportunidad de vivir.
En otras oportunidades les he comentado lo religiosa que es la comunidad de la ciudad de Táriba en el estado Táchira de Venezuela.
Las personas son encomendadas a la Virgen de la Consolación de Táriba incluso desde antes de nacer. Por lo que la imágen está resguardando la entrada de la ciudad.
Además de la Basílica, pienso que que esta es una de las cosas que nos representa como gente de Táriba y nos da un sentido de pertenencia. Esta enorme estatua en cemento mide más de 2 metros y medio.
Casualmente, tomé las fotos mientras una bella abejita venía a hacer su trabajo de polinización en las flores que adornan la avenida principal.
Realmente me siento orgullosa de esta ciudad. Mientras estaba en el extranjero me conformaba con la nostalgia que me daba al ver las fotos de estos lugares tan nuestros y encontraba el alivio en los recuerdos bonitos.
