Greetings friends who love handicrafts! Welcome once again to my Bricolaje DC workshop. Today I'm going to show you a little school project that I've been doing for my 3 year old daughter and her preschool classmates, it's a DIY maze with useful material, themed transportation means. Join me and I'll show you the step by step.

Hoy paso a enseñarles un pequeño proyecto escolar que estuve haciendo para mi hija de 3 años y sus compañeros de preescolar, se trata de un laberinto DIY con msterial de provecho, temática medios de transporte. Acompáñenme y les enseño el paso a paso.

Process of elaboration

-With the help of a compass, make a circle on the greaseproof cardboard that is the size of the bottom of the dome and then on the black cardboard another circle that is 1 centimeter smaller than the cardboard circle.

Proceso de elaboración:

-Con ayuda del compás, hacemos un círculo en el cartón sulfatado que sea del tamaño de la parte inferior del domo y luego en la cartulina negra otro círculo que sea 1 centímetro más pequeño que el de cartón.

-We are going to make a piece of black cardboard ring that fits outside the dome to simulate the road. Cut the center of the hoop with the cutter so as not to break the remaining circle, as it could be used for another project.

-Vamos a hacer una pieza de un aro en cartulina de color negro, que encaje fuera del domo para simular la carretera. Cortamos el centro del aro con el cutter para no romper el círculo restante ya que, nos podría servir para otro proyecto.

-On the white cardboard, we draw in pencil the selected means of transportation. In our case, my daughter selected a family car. Underneath the car we make a ring 1/2 millimeter wider than the previous piece so that it can turn easily.

-En la cartulina de color blanco, hacemos a lápiz el medio de transporte seleccionado. En nuestro caso, mi hija seleccionó un automóvil familiar. Debajo del automóvil hacemos un aro 1/2 milimetro más ancho que la pieza anterior para que pueda girar fácilmente.

-We cut the inside with the cutter and the outside with the scissors. And we make another thinner and smaller black ring.

Then we would have 3 pieces to assemble the car that rotates around the dome (outer part). And the cardboard background with the black circle to assemble the maze (inside).

-Cortamos el interior con el cutter y el exterior con la tijera. Y hacemos otro aro más fino y pequeño de color negro.

Entonces tendriamos 3 piezas para ensamblar el automóvil que gira alrededor del domo (parte exterior). Y el fondo de cartón con el círculo negro para armar el laberinto (parte interior).

-We color the car with the markers. The children can help us with this step, it's a lot of fun to work as a family. We are going to cover the car and the hoop with the masking tape to protect it.

-Coloreamos el automóvil con los marcadores. Los niños pueden ayudarnos con este paso, es muy divertido trabajar en familia. Vamos a cubrir el automóvil y el aro con la cinta adhesiva para protegerlo.

-On the widest ring, we mark a dotted line with the liquid chalk. It should look like a road.

-En el aro más ancho, marcamos una línea punteada con la tiza líquida. Así debe parecer una carretera.

-With the glue stick, we glue the cardboard circle on the cardboard circle.

-Con el pegamento en barra, pegamos el círculo cartulina sobre el círculo de cartón.

-Then we are going to draw dotted lines with the liquid chalk that will be the path of the labyrinth. The idea is to simulate a road where the pea must travel to get from one end of the maze to the other.

-Luego vamos a dibujar líneas punteadas con la tiza líquida que será la trayectoria del laberinto. La idea es simular una carretera por donde debe transitar la arveja para llegar de un extremo al otro del laberinto.

-Cut the cardboard into 1 cm strips and follow the contour of the road, folding where necessary.

-Cortamos el cartón en tiras de 1 centímetro y vamos a seguir el contorno de la carretera doblando donde sea necesario.

-We glue all the edges of the road and the maze is ready.

-Pegamos todos los bordes de la carretera y está listo el laberinto.

-Finally, we place the dome and we can glue the cardboard with hot silicone so that the lid cannot be removed.

-Para finalizar, colocamos el domo y podemos pegar el cartón con silicón caliente para que no se pueda retirar la tapa.

-This type of games help children to have a greater concentration, develop their hand eye skills and also work on the development of fine psychomotor skills while playing.

This type of games for children, has a market value between 10 and 20$. If we make our toy maze with useful material we could save money and guarantee the didactic learning of our children. This labyrinth has a cost in materials of 2$.

-Este tipo de juegos ayudan a que los niños tengan una mayor concentración, desarollen sus habilidades ojo mano y también trabajar el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad fina mientras se juega.

Este tipo de juegos para niños, tiene un valor en el mercado entre 10 y 20$. Si realizamos nuestro oropio juguete con material de provecho podríamos ahorrar dinero y garantiza el aprendizaje didáctico de nuestros niños. Este laberinto tiene un costo en materiles de 2$.
