To break in the materials, I made a pretty crescent moon set.

Using #18 wire for the base, I made one crescent moon using measurements 5 and 3 on the mandrel. This will be the pendant. For the earrings, I followed the same process but used measurements 4 and 2 on the mandrel.

Para estrenar los materiales, realicé un bonito juego de media luna.

Utilizando para la base alambre #18 realicé 1 media luna utilizando las medidas 5 y 3 del mandril, este será el colgante. Para los aretes hice el mismo proceso pero utilizando las medidas 4 y 2 del mandril.

Make 3 chains of 5 rings each. I loved the mandrel clamp; it makes the job 100% easier.

Realice 3 cadenetas de 5 aros cada una. Me encantó la pinza mandril, facilita el trabajo a un 100%

I took three 50-centimeter strands of #30 wire and joined them together to make a weave in each of the moons.

I alternated gold-colored beads throughout.

Tomé 3 hebras de 50 centímetros de alambre #30 y las junté para luego haver un tejido en cada una de las lunas.

Fui pasando de forma intercalada mostacillas de color dorado.

Once I finished weaving, I set about attaching the chain loops, securing them with #30 wire to each of the half-moons. I placed the earrings facing outwards, while I placed the pendant facing inwards.

Una vez que terminé el tejido, me dispuse a pegar las cadenetas de aros, las fijé con alambre #30 a cada una de las media luna. A los aretes las coloqué hacia afuera, mientras que al colgante la coloqué hacia adentro.

Using gold-colored nylon thread, black and gold beads, and a beading needle, I made some beads that you could hang from each earring to give it volume.

Con hilo de nylon color dorado y mostacillas en colo negro y dorado y la aguja para mostacilla, hice unas cuentas que colgabas de cada arete para darle volumen.

I placed a 40-centimetre piece of thread on each of the rings that we attached to the crescent shapes of the earrings.

Coloqué una hebra de hilo de 40 centímetros en cada uno de los aros que fijamos a las media lunas de los aretes.

With the help of the needle, I placed the beads in a staircase pattern on each earring. I tied a safety knot and burned off the excess with a lighter.

Con ayuda de la aguja, coloqué las mostacillas en forma de escalera en cada arete. Hice un nudo de seguridad y quemé los excedentes con el encendedor.

Once I finished my earrings, I made the hooks and attached a rhodium chain to the pendant. And that's it!

Una vez terminados mis aretes. Hice los anzuelos y coloqué una cadena de rodio al colgante. Y listo!
