Art and life, a beautiful ecological work of art |CCC's Street Art Contest #209 [Eng-Esp]
Greetings friends who love street art! Today I would like to share with you a beautiful ecological mural in the capital city of the state of Yaracuy, San Felipe. This beautiful piece of art is called Arte y Vida. Join me to discover some curiosities about this mural.
Some time ago I had the opportunity to visit this city thanks to some friends of Hive who invited me. While they gave me the tour they took me to several places of cultural interest that stole my heart. One of these places was the popular mural of the San Felipe artist Paola que pintta, who has left her colorful artistic mark all over this city.
Eight hundred thousand recycled plastic lids and some objects such as flowers and plastic spoons were used to line this beautiful painting of planet earth, one of the plants and flowers endemic to the region and the grandmothers of the nursing home to which the wall that was adorned with this mural belongs.
A team of permanent volunteers, exporadic volunteers and the artist Paola Cardozo, managed to gather, select and prepare all the material that was used to finish this work.
The wall of this corner of the 2nd avenue of San Felipe, makes a perfect curve in a semicircle, on the other side of the avenue the artist reflected the emblematic arch of San Felipe el Fuerte, her signature and that of the sponsors of the mural. All this with colored caps.
My impression with this beautiful ecological artistic work was impressive, as I had never had the opportunity to see such a colorful work in recycled plastic caps. The message that the people of San Felipe give us is to give a second chance to the things in disuse that normally contaminate and with it create these beautiful expressions of art.
I am very happy to share this mural, I admire the artist and I invite you to visit San Felipe, in the state of Yaracuy in Venezuela. An infinite hug, see you next time. Bye!
Chao!
