Is it crazy to buy $1000 worth of $BTC right now or has that ship sailed? Tell me in the comments. Seeking #smartpeople

I don't think it's crazy. It will be worth it in years to come seeing how $BTC has grown in value. I wish I knew about crypto earlier, I would have invested in BTC.

If you have $1000 to spare, go ahead and buy the BTC worth of it.

My thoughts about it.

its sailed if you're looking for a quick buck...but if you're looking to buy a piece of future money to swap for rotting fiat, its never too late

Not insane at all—it depends on your objectives. Especially if you think BTC will expand in the future, $1,000 in BTC can still be a good starting point if you're investing with a long-term perspective.

Many investors prefer dollar-cost averaging over attempting to buy the dip since timing the ideal moment is almost difficult. Just be sure you're only putting in what you can afford to lose.

I don't see it going to zero. I'd like to beat inflation and not touch this for 13 to 15 years. I just think 1000 now might be better than DCA $100 over 10 months.

That makes total sense. If you're planning to hold for 13–15 years, that long time horizon really smooths out the short-term volatility.

A $1,000 lump sum now could give you more exposure sooner, especially if you believe BTC will trend upward over time.

DCA is great for managing risk, but with that kind of timeline, lump-sum investing might work out better. Either way, sounds like you’ve got a solid plan.

I did it and now my FOMO has ended and won't have to think about BTC again. My stack is my stack. That is a huge relief.

That’s a great feeling—peace of mind is underrated! Now you can just let your stack do its thing and not stress over the charts. Congrats on making your move and putting that FOMO to rest.

It's just a huge relief. Been wanting to do it for a year but never pulled the trigger. I did it and now that's it. I'm done. Whatever happens happens. It's not a ton to lose in the big picture but my FOMO has subsided.

if your goal is to beat inflation BTC is always the best investment.

My “risk plays” are hive and Leo, low risk risk plays. My safe play is Bitcoin until I can afford to invest in some physical assets and not feel like I’m missing out on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will go up forever as long as SOMEONE wants it. At this point I feel as long as Michael Saylor is alive, everyone else can sell and hate on it and I’ll still win in the end, cause he’ll always be willing to buy my bitcoin 😝

I am not smart. But I think looking at the limited supply and speedy adoption of Bitcoin makes it a real good investment for the long term.

I think buying BTC is the best investment when you have spare amount of money.
