From Corrosion to Creation

Every now and then, we all have one of those moments—when something completely ordinary suddenly catches our eye in the most unexpected way. It could be a random pattern, a smudge, a crack in the pavement—something mundane that sparks the imagination.

Today, as I walked past an old, rusted metal cabinet, something unusual stopped me in my tracks. A stain—just a random blotch on its surface—seemed to hold a strange kind of beauty. I snapped a photo and later tinkered with it in Lightroom, coaxing out its textures and tones.

Hours after finishing the edit, I heard the news: white smoke was rising from the Sistine Chapel. A new Pope had been chosen. Strange, how moments of inspiration can align with moments of history—how a simple stain can lead the mind somewhere sacred.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you like my creation.
