El Cuartel Restaurant: Amazed by how it stands on top of the mountain ⛰️

Hi @worldmappin fam! How is your travelling so far? I hope everyone is doing great and feeling fantastic! :)

I would like to share with you one of the amazing place we went somewhere in Batangas. This is a Spanish Restaurant that we just randomly found in Google.

The family planned to go to Tagaytay for the blessing of my aunt’s new car for her rent-a-car business. We used the new car to go there, and we stopped by Lourdes Church, which we used to visit very often when I was staying with them.

After the car blessing, we had breakfast at McDonald’s before heading to our next stop for lunch. At that time, we were looking for a good place or restaurant to eat. I found a nice place in Batangas with very good reviews on Facebook. Everyone agreed to go there, so after breakfast, we drove to that place.

When we arrived, we were already amazed by the view. It was overlooking and gave us peace, with a very nice view of Mount Makiling. Of course, we loved taking pictures to keep as memories, so we took some photos before going inside. This place is called El Cuartel Restaurant and Bar.

We took lots of pictures, as you can see. When we went inside, we loved it even more because it was not crowded and was very clean, with a perfect view. We then chose our seats so we could enjoy both the view and the food. We started ordering, and they had a wide selection of food on their menu, including Spanish and Filipino dishes.

The manager who took our order also had a small talk with us about the history of the restaurant before it was built there. It was definitely one for the books. There were also many well-known and influential people who had visited the restaurant. It was nice to learn about its history before it became successful. No doubt, that is why people intentionally go there to eat.

So this is not only a restaurant; the first level is also a bar. People can definitely enjoy this place at night or even during the day when they have special events. We weren’t able to see it because we were here only for lunch and we did not have much time to spend until the night since we need to drive back home.

We definitely enjoyed the food and the view. It was a perfect choice for a family that loves to explore together. The food servings were also good since they were served hot and fresh from the kitchen. All of us were full and satisfied.

I hope you can visit this place someday on your vacation. The history, the scenic view of the restaurant, and the food are definitely a must-try.
