Hi Hivers! How are you all? This is my first post ever in Hive. I am filled with excitement while writing this and to take you inside my world. This is me, a loving mother of three equally beautiful daughters.

My name is Aiza, 40 years old. I live in the timber city of the Philippines. A city whose tourism tagline is: In the beginning, there was no Philippines, there was Butuan. I am a Financial Advisor and a certified English as a Second Language teacher. I have been coaching children and adult students for almost five years now.

The Big C

Here's a back story. A lot happened to me inside 40. I was diagnosed with big C, shall I say it here? Whatever, cancer in 2019. I lost my job, my beauty, my hopes, and my dreams. I was totally defeated. The conventional therapy led me to have a bag a year later. It was an 8-9 hour major surgery. I am now a bag lady. It was the darkest and lowest moment of my life. It was tough really. I cannot imagine how I survived the hell I've been through without my friends and whole family's support and prayers, especially my husband and my eldest daughter, who sacrificed her studies to be with me during those days. She bathed me, combed my hair, and carried me every day. I am so blessed to have them. But hey! I won't let all of those stop me. Fast forward. I feel good and better now. Thank Father in Heaven for allowing me to be here still.

Rainbow after the Rain

As the years went by, I grew bored and uncertain about what to pursue. I kept myself occupied by reading the bible and novels, sewing hair ties, and watching survival movies and K-dramas that I enjoy. Spend time in the beauty of green nature. During this time, I became increasingly drawn to K-dramas, particularly historical rom-coms. Through all the turmoil and challenges, I have developed resilience in every aspect of my life. I refuse to take life for granted. My goal is to remain positive and happy, no matter what comes my way. I aim to be the healthiest version of myself and an inspiration to others.

Work and Side Hustling

I have to work because the world is cruel to people without money.
I love working from home; it's great to talk to people from different countries and learn about their cultures and unique personalities. I get to help them achieve their goals, and we learn from each other. I am patient in my work and enjoy sharing my knowledge about financial literacy to ensure others don’t end up like me and many others who face financial uncertainty.

Love the Beach

I have always been a beach lover. My body really craves the sea. Maybe it's because my father used to take us to the beach almost every weekend. I have fond memories of those beach trips with my family. I love the sound of the waves, sunshine, and salty scent. It's a warm good feeling. It is therapy.

One big Happy Family

I came from a family of seven. I am the youngest daughter. I only have one brother. Growing up in a big family is quite chaotic but funny and loud. My sibling and I fight, but we always make up by the end of the year. haha. I mean day. I have a loving and supportive family, even with the occasional sibling squabble. My parents are already old, but they are still very caring and supportive in any way they can. I couldn't be more grateful. Each sibling has a family of their own. I have three gorgeously beautiful daughters, as they say, and two male dogs. Each has a unique feature and personality. Their names have the initial KC. My dogs were named after Thor the god of thunder and Thanos in the movie Avengers. If I could go back in time, I would still choose my daughters to be my children and my two pet dogs to be my best friends.
