Drawing the Wizard of Eastwood for the Splinterlands Art Contest

Before sharing my post and its insight I would like to state that I have deeply missed you guys. The thrill of writing, editing and sharing is really something beautiful. I was unavoidably absent because of work as usual and some relationship issues. It took a lot of gut to make this sketch I must confess. I stood my ground firmly and said 'no more'. The Wizard character always remind me of Gandalf the grey and I think I have talked about it the few times I have made such post.
The coloring on the arm of his shirt is one definite feature I am very glad I could accomplish. I tried too to do some dabbing on the clothe which though looks great wasn't really what I was gunning for.
