Drawing and Painting a Pear

Hi friends and Happy New Week
It’s been a wonderful time this weekend. I got to make and share one or two pieces in it which is more than I’ve done in the past month ☺️.
So there’s this series I used to hear people talk about and a couple of times I have seen the pictures of the actors in it. I stumbled upon a digital painting of one of those actors yesterday and I immediately started drawing it. But before I had seen a painting of a pear 🍐.
This was a classic painting and with the was I saw it, it had a kind of Italian/French touch. I at first didn’t want to jump on it as the earlier movie star mentioned but I thought of it as a challenge. I don’t think I have drawn fruits in a very long time. Doing this then will break me out my my cycle and help me see how much more I need to improve.
The colours I used in this drawing are colours; green, yellow, orange, brown, red, black and ash.
