INTRODUCTION

Hello beautiful readers!! 😅 My name is Obura Cecilia Chidinma, my friends fondly call me "Nma". I am a Nigerian, from the eastern part called the Igbo tribe. My parents hail from Ohaukwu LGA in Ebonyi State, and this automatically makes me an Ebonyian. I am chocolate in complexion, slim, and 5ft tall, I speak English and Igbo language fluently, a Sagittarius, music lover, lover of God, and a Marian devotee.

I am the second daughter of my parents, I am from a monogamous Christian home, my family is a family of nine - 5 girls, 2 boys, and my both parents. My parents, from childhood, molded our relationship to be a perfect one. We grew up loving one another and sharing the same faith and belief. I am currently in 300L studying Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State.

My parents are civil servants; they work in Abia State, and that's where they gave birth to me and my siblings. So, I grew up in Abia State with my siblings, although we occasionally visit my hometown during festive periods. At the age of three, my parents enrolled me into school; I completed my primary education in 2015. I sat for the first school-leaving certificate that same year and got admitted into Holy Rosary College, Ugwunchara, Abia State.

The school operated a day/boarding system; my parents chose to put me in boarding. All through my secondary school, I loved school and only visited my parents during holidays. Boarding experience was full of fun; at first, it wasn't exciting, but as I increased in class, I grew to love the boarding house. I was in St. Perpetual dormitory. Boarding house taught me how to be independent and economical; I graduated with an outstanding grade in 2021. I wrote JAMB and WAEC that same year and got admission to study Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Michael Okpara Universityof Agriculture,Umudike,AbiaState.

I started my university academic pursuit with so much zeal, and one of my major goals was to graduate with a first-class honors degree, which I'm still currently working on. Life as a fresher in school is not easy, but believe me, it was fun-filled - identifying with your coursemates, getting to locate lecture halls, waking up very early so that you'll sit in the front row because if you sit at the back, you'll end up not hearing anything. At the end of the session, I had a CGPA of 4.45; gradually, my dream was coming to pass, but I knew I wanted more.

A new session began; we entered 200L, challenges set in - uncertainties, doubt - but one thing I assured myself is that there's no going back. Despite the struggles, I still took my academics seriously, and at the end of that session, I had a CGPA of 4.47. A new session started; I entered 300L, which is my current level. And this is my year of industrial training, which we abbreviate to IT, and I am doing my industrial training in Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, Abia State.

I was posted to the Human Nutrition and Dietetics department, which is my specialty. There, I was assigned cases, which I managed with my supervisor, who is a Dietitian. I'm not yet done with the IT; I'll be rounding up next month. I joined this community because I love blogging about my daily life. I love sharing knowledge, and meeting new people. My main purpose of joining this platform is to bring nutritional knowledge to your doorstep, to share ideas on Nutrition, to also share amazing findings about nature, and also to evangelize Christ.

I am not only here to teach; I am also here to learn and grow more in knowledge. I believe I am welcomed into this community, and I look forward to your feedbacks and contributions. Thank you, dear amazing readers. This space is designed for interactive sessions where we share beliefs, ideas, and opinions on healthy nutrition. I'm excited to unfold valuable knowledge and insights here, and I look forward to engaging with you all. Stay tuned and let's explore the world of healthy nutrition together! Thank you😆
