Harvesting Rambotan In Our Backyard

Good afternoon Hiverse!

When we plant, we can have a harvest. I am not expecting that we are harvesting ripe Rambotan from the backyard. I was the one planting it and I remember it was 2018 upon my arrival from Saudi Arabia. I was there visiting mother last 2017. I went home for my family. I chose them to be in my side and worked in the government.

After few days of my arrival, I bought seedlings of Rambotan, lansones and durian. Durian was dead, the lansones is growing but not bearing fruits yet. Amazingly, this year is a fruitful year when I harvested the fruit of my labor.

I hope that it signifies my life that I could be a fruitful man for my kids.

What a beautiful story to share today! I was the one planting it and my two kids were harvesting it. Two pieces of Rambotan handed by my eldest daughter from her hand direct to my hand. She was the one climbing on the metal fench and reached the fruit.

I realized that if we try to plant, we can expect a good harvest. The variety is so sweet and no regrets my kids are the first person who taste the fruit of what I planted. It's a turning point of the story.

I also planted guyavano in our other house. It gave fruit but the fruit itself is not good. It rotten while the fruit growing in the tree itself. This time, I am so happy that I have proven myself as green thumb. Not all the people have it according to the older people.

Thank you hive friends, I am slowly but surely gaining positive aspects in my life.

I grow rambutan as well. But it hasn't grown yet. And rambutan is sold expensive here. I see your rambutan and I want to eat it now haha.

Having a fruit, trees and even vegetable on the yard is seriously an amazing thing. Especially you get to harvest its fruit in just a year. I suddenly missed harvesting ramabutan. Last year ko pa nagawa yan, kay Auntie Belen na puno naman yun.

Rambutan is one of my favorite fruits. I don't know if they just aren't popular here in Vietnam but the ones I see in the supermarket are very small and not very good. I wish we had big juicy ripe ones like the ones in your pictures.
